Mr Pippard has not been upfront with disclousure of his fees. Sad to have had this happended to us, we are hard working citizens,who understand and appreciate the work done by all service providers,and the government and legal system in Canada. We did not expect to encounter this unfair,and misleading experience. Sad to say,word of mouth is the best type of advertizing for any kind of business. we are not recommending Mr Pippard to any of our friends or neighbours here in the triCities.Carol,his legal assistant was very helpful,and cordial;unfortunately gave us the wrong information about the fees as well.

My money was stolen from me by this lawyer who did zero for me . terrible lawyer totally unorganized forgot my name didnt have a clue dont use him a total waste of time . i would have been better off donating the money to childrens hospital .i am out thousands and had to get another lawyer who was great and pay him as well. AVOID at all costs

I obtain Larry Pippard using Legal Aid. He did nothing to my file, he didn't even filed the "Change of Solicitor" in Supreme Court. He was constant in conversation with my ex-husband. On October of that year, my oldest son decided not to come see me anymore and y youngest wasn't allowed. My ex stopped taking the children on my accessed weekends as per order of the judge from Supreme Court. Larry didn't do anything about it. On that same year, my 1st X-Mas without my children I called Larry to ask him to speak with my ex. He said to me to just accept the fact the children don't want to see me anymore. Two months later I travelled to my country to visit my family a gift from my family to me. It was 8 years I didn't see them. Within 1 week I received email from my ex indicating "I didn't have a lawyer anymore". When I returned I contacted Legal Aid and learned that Larry quit my file and my case had no merit.Since when a mother has no merit to see their children?He never informed he quit

I was charged criminally for a case where I had to deal with some abusive RCMP after I had to defend myself from some bikers who had threatened to kill me and some friends. Pippard seemed to be more concerned about protecting the police and threw me to the wolves in court. He went for a trial by judge only and got me to plead guilty to "resiting a police officer" and to "mischief under $5000" for kicking out the window of the police car where I had been left with the windows rolled up in hot weather. The bikers walked and the RCMP officers involved were never held accountable for their incompetent and abusive behavior. Pippard didn't inform me that if I plead guilty that I wouldn't be able to appeal. I was saddled with a criminal record and a firearms prohibition, and was basically railroaded by the so called justice system. In my opinion Pippard is lazy and incompetent and definitely would not recommend him unless you want to lose.

Larry came recommended from a friend of a friend. I didn't have the money for a family lawyer, so I obtained Legal Aid and asked for him. My first meeting with Larry was amazing. He told me I had a strong case to get my kids back and told me not to worry. Following that one meeting, I could rarely get a hold of him via email or telephone. He seemingly made it a goal not to reply to emails. It was only after I became aggressive that he'd reply, but wouldn't answer my questions. I started feeling that, because I was a Legal Aid client, I was a second-class citizen. I fired Larry and obtained a new lawyer through Legal Aid. Larry had the balls to tell the Legal Aid office that I communicated too much. Larry, my advice to you is to take the time to get to know your clients better and understand how they "feel" about the situation instead of ignoring them. A client should feel comfortable and confident with his or her lawyer, and I did not. Maybe if I had money, it would have been different
