DO NOT RECOMMEND! Her BAD attitude and lack of accountability are enough to deter anyone with common sense. There have been at least 3 assistants while I was a client. She blames the assistants for everything, never takes blame for things that are her fault. She is often not prepared for appointments; she even starts preparing the paperwork you intended to review during your appointment. I had to wait 3-4 weeks for a call back, even if it was a time sensitive matter. The lack of compassion and lack of empathy is what forced me to find other counsel, that and she charges SO MUCH for offering your next to nothing. I would NEVER recommend this woman, and I hope my honest review will help aid in anyone's decision to hire her.

Virginia is a waste of time. She is rude, takes forever for anything to be completed and very unprofessional. It is completely disgusting how she treats her staff, and even speaks to them like that in front of clients. Her lack of compassion and work ethic does not make her a good fit for family law whatsoever. Do not hire this woman even as a last resort I would represent myself.

Stay away from this one. Unorganized, way to expensive, does not provide any guidance, fills out paperwork during consultations and charges huge fees for data entry. She will drag things on and charge you. Should you ever question her she will drop you and leave you hanging just before a court case, obviously knowing she messed up. Worst experience ever.

Left a previous counsel to be represented by Virginia. I do not regret it. It has been a costly battle, but we have been able to prove that my ex was hiding commissions to pay me less money. While every other lawyer doubted me Virginia had faith.

Very money hungry and not a good lawyer especially in court. She talks like she's tough and tries to buy your trust in her office but is all talk. She is very forgetful and disorganized. Office is not well runned and never returns calls. She is not a good lawyer and is definitely not worth the money.

She took years to get my straight-forward legal business taken care of, was never prepared when she called me in to consult (looking over my file, getting herself familiar, again, with what she was doing for me), blamed her secretaries when SHE failed to contact me about my business (I called multiple times and my calls were not returned for weeks), and her excessive billing made me feel like she charged for the air I breathed while in her presence. Ultimately, she got the job done but because sensitive time limits were exceeded, it could have gone bad.Not a good experience.

Extremely helpful in my case. Was willing to listen to my side of the story and helped me to see how I should approach the case without simply using my emotions. Won my case and has my vote!

Virginia has represented me twice in the last 5 years in custody/support issues. Very satisfied with how things were handled and the outcome of the cases. She knows her stuff and tells it like it is. She doesn't blow sunshine up your ass but rather gives you solid advice based on realistic outcomes. She recognizes game play or unwarranted ploys by opposing solicitors and deals with it directly and authoritatively. She's professional but vocal (in front of a Justice) when needed and will fight for your rights. Communication with both Virginia and her assistant Kim were timely and persistent with updates and strategies discussed in person and via email. Hourly fees are consistent with other attorneys but she applied a nice discount to my final bill. In addition she did not apply a charge to me for an unnecessary (stupid) move taken by the opposing counsel that required Virginia to file papers in answer. Highly recommended!

Unreturned phone calls (over 1 month waiting to be contacted), not willing to listen to understand her client's 'story' or the full picture of an abusive spousal relationship etc. She came highly recommended but my experience has been extremely frustrating and a waste of over $3000.
