He changed firms while representing me and failed to notify me of the change! I had to track him down to fire him!

He never returns phone calls. Unprofessional. No one is soooo busy that he or she cannot return a phone call.

Lawyers should not be more aggravating than the people you are suing. Well into the process it became apparent that he was not making an effort to familiarize himself with all the facts and details surrounding the case. I expect a lawyer to come up with a "game plan", know the process, and be prepared to defend his clients position. He never demonstrated any of these attributes. He was a wuss in the court room. He might make a good paralegal but showed little of what you might expect from a highly paid attorney. I have had dealings with other attorneys over the years. Some are slow to respond when you call but I have never had one before this one that took up to a month to return a call on several occasions.
