Deeply concerning lack of progressional standards and understanding of power dynamics and coercive control. Does not respond to calls or requests for assistance. Will argue with client and refuse to remove herself, even when clearly causing harm to client. Does not have updated training on parenting coordination, or issues regarding legal professionals enabling harms to clients and children. She is overly busy and not responsive to client needs, based on my experience and other complaints I have read. Deeply concerning lack of understanding of professional conduct and responsibilities, best interests of child, and lack of training on how to provide trauma-informed, violence-informed and safety-informed training.

I started my case in Summer 2017 with her after I and my child fled my abusive husband . Never available to get answers to my questions. Hid evidence from me (CAS disclosure, recordings etc my ex filed). I was kept in the dark about most of the opposing side's communications. We could have easily won the case but she didn't listen to me. 6 months later she started speaking in favour of my ex at motions. After she did it at 2 hearings, I emailed her several times asking why she would do that. She never responded. I had to pay costs because of her disloyalty. After I changed her, my ex was not successful. My ex's lawyer lies in front of the judges. When I brought it to her attention she kept defending him. Me and my child are still paying the price for her misdoings. I am not mad at her but feel very sad.

Communication is a challenge, Alison was always too busy to take calls or answer emails. It took her months to start my family court application, and another several months for the case conference. Prior to the case conference the only instruction I was given is not to expect anything to change, however the junior lawyer replacing Alison that day appeared to have no knowledge of my situation, which led to a very poor outcome for my kids and I. You are just a file with bank account attached, and not a priority for her. I would recommend looking elsewhere (as I am now).

Took weeks and months to hear from her, would get paper work with errors and names of other people on it.

I found her to be amazing... She was very informative, I have a very complex situation going on with 2 separate fathers and she gave me very sound advice and has been very helpful through the whole process very smart lady in my opinion I was so surprised to see so many negative posts about her..

Alison Campbell promises the moon and puts on a good show before a judge however she is not fully prepared. She is very complacent and did not give me good advice. She would let me do what I thought should be done however I now realize it was all a waste of my time and money! It got me nowhere. A good lawyer would have said settle, don't waste your money on this. I changed lawyers.

Very frustrating experience; while she seems knowledgeable and inspires confidence during initial consultation (enough to make you pay the initial fees which to some people are significant) what follows is in my opinion a terrible, extremely frustrating experience; starting with poor communication (always thru her assistant, rarely directly even when I insisted to talk to her in person) , always busy with other more important cases, simple documents that require review and minor changes can take months to be delivered (when the agreed/ promised deadline is two weeks) ..and even after a lot of struggle the doc is poorly written and missing important information (I feel that my case was passed on around the block to jr. staff that were not in the loop or simply ignored the most important points; Note that my case was a simple review of very amicable separation draft already prepared by my ex lawyers. Cannot imagine putting my life in her hands if situation had required it.NOT RECOMMENDED
