I was extremely pleased with the responsiveness and support I received from Ronald Minken. He listened to me and helped me deal with an issue that I found to be very difficult. His guidance and support enabled me to get a win/win result for both parties. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a service oriented, highly experienced and knowledgeable lawyer! Sue

Minken is a complete disaster. Do not use his services. He is expensive, completely disorganized and puts his own pocket book ahead of his clients interests. In addition to filing an official compliant with the Law society of Upper Canada I also intend to sue Minken. I do not believe any positive reviews of Minken. I would not hire Minken to represent me in traffic court so forget about a serious legal issue.

I have used Ron Minken and his team a few times over the years. I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable, dependable and professional with a high degree of integrity. Their fees are competitive with other law firms and I would highly recommend Minken Employment Lawyers for all your employment law needs.

Resurrection Credit Union Limited has been using Minken Employment Lawyers since 2014. Ron Minken and his colleagues Sara Kauder and Kyle Burgis have assisted us with various employment matters including Human Resource Policy review, hiring contracts and other employment issues. Everyone on the Minken team that I have dealt with has been professional, excellent at providing all sides of the argument and offered helpful advice.

Ron Minken is by far the best lawyer I have ever used. Ron is very knowledgeable in Employment Law and conducting legal proceedings. I benefited from his vast experience and highly recommend him. He took the time to explain the law, and helped me develop the right strategy. I received reassurance from his words and especially his actions that he had my best interests at heart. He has great work ethics and was able to resolve a very complicated situation in record time. The entire office is fantastic and treated me with high quality service. Thank you Ron and your entire office for an unbelievable experience.

After more than two years and over $25,000 in legal expenses paid to Minken, he tells me that more time and an additional $75,000 in legal expenses will be required to settle my case. Do I need to say any more about this lawyer. At the first appointment with Minken, after reviewing my case he assured me that I would receive a settlement that I would be happy with. When asked about the cost, his estimate was $25,000. His management of my case has only benefited Mr. Minken. He made thousands of dollars at my expense. He delivered no results and his performance can be best described as pathetic. I have moved on to a new legal team and parted company with Minken. Hiring Minken was the biggest mistake of my life. My motivation for writing this review is to protect individuals that find themselves in a similar position to mine

Minken told me that according to common law I was likely owed 6 months minimum. The first $1700 letter went out quickly to my former employer and their response came back almost as quickly saying I had signed an employment agreement upon hire waiving my common law rights. I was never told that there was a paragraph in the signed agreement that translated from legal to English saying I waived my rights. My lawyer left the firm a week later and I was not alerted for one month and only after I called to find out why things were not moving. I was given the wrong advice that I was not entitled to apply to the Ministry of Labour for reprisal although I am successfully moving forward with the MofL. When I asked if the firm was willing to advocate for ME, they fired me because the relationship had broken down. I got absolutely NOTHING for many thousands of dollars and many tears. This firm is representative of why the public sees lawyers as unethical, ineffectual and greedy.
