Very experienced lawyer but holds all the cards to his chest and doesn't explain the nuances of family law. Because of him and his failure to advise properly, I am out tens of thousands of dollars and still battling after 3 years of separation and divorce. Seems to have no energy or passion and my ex's lawyer with a tenth of his experience continues to dominate and gets her way while I am paying a fortune. Time to find a replacement who will do the job in no time and for far less money.

This is the second lawyer i went to after my first lawyer took forever to respond & refused to use e-mail, instead preferring to use snail mail. I have to agree with the other comments about Mr. Paquette responding quickly, but he doesn't explain to you the best way to go about things. Plus for every e-mail there is a hefty price tag. I told Mr. Paquette I wanted to get everything done quickly and for as little money as possible and it seemed like he dragged the process out because he knew how much equity there was and did things that were unnecessary to line his pockets. It cost me about $5500 using his services just to get my house sold and that didn't include dividing up any other assets. He is very expensive and i don't feel i got much for the money i spent.. i had to tell him my story 3 times before he got it and it wasn't that complicated. you are better off going directly to a real estate lawyer.. my real estate lawyer got everything else settled in 20 minutes.

An excellent and very experienced lawyer. I have retained him to help me through my divorce, custody and property division and his knowledge and helpfulness is top notch. He responds to emails quickly and his monthly invoices are always very detailed. Plus he is a very nice man to deal with and is sensitive to my situation.
