A few years ago, I was accused of attempted murder. The DA said I tried to kill my girlfriend. I did't try to kill her but was trying to stop her drug use. I loved her. The detective on the case had a thing for my girlfriend and was out to get me. I just about gave up hope but Mr. Paek never did. He fought and fought for me. We went to trial and won. I cried and cried.

I used to be a gang member. I could have gone to prison for a long time for selling drugs and beating up a guy but Mr. Paek got me a second chance and I didn't go to prison. I am finishing up technical college and have a new chance at life. Mr. Paek worked on my case for months talking to the DA and her boss. I remember how he never gave up on me. He pushed me to go straight. And its all good now.

He is by far the best attorney in Koreatown. I am a school teacher and was charged falsely with sex acts with students. I went to jury trial with Mr. Paek and we were found Not Guilty of all charges after 3 weeks. I had a "jewish" lawyer and a "white" lawyer before meeting with Mr. Paek. And I am eternally grateful. He is brutally honest which is what a good lawyer needs to be. I can't believe the misleading reviews by these other people. I know Mr. Paek is constantly a target by other lawyers who are incompetent or lazy because he works so hard. I wouldn't be surprised if these other reviews are by people who work for them. Mr. Paek is the real deal. My daughter was left with such an impression that she wants to be a lawyer. Most lawyers don't kbow how to do trials. Believe me, Mr. Paek knows what he is doing. And he is the founding president of Korean Lawyers Association. Please do not berate a great lawyer like Mr. Paek.

I feel like he works for prosecutor's side not the client's. He is only a good lister of the first free consultant. He still works but you will be hard to reach him one you hire. ??!!

David Paek represented me for a DUI in 2011. If you need a lawyer, avoid David, your better off finding a Pro Bono attorney ( Lawyers at no cost). His advice is the same as a Public Defender. Mr. Paek claims he know the District Attorney and Judges in LA. This is a false claim. He will charge you for his services, but the outcome will be the same as if you got a Public Defender. Please save yourself the time, money and effort. I am Korean and I am saying please, do not choose him as your lawyer. 818-428-5836.
