I hired the lawyer for a personal injury case and she was doing a good job. The only reason I changed lawyers and went to another firm was not because of her work. One of the staff, a older female working the front desk followed me outside and offered to "expedite" my case if I paid her directly an additional fee of $500. I called Ms. Hutchens immediately when I returned home and twice after that for a total of three times. She never returned my call and I decided this was totally illegal and went to another firm. I do not blame her whatsoever, the messages were obviously being intercepted by this woman. I'm an old guy from the old school and had never run into this kind of crook before. As Ms. Hutchens was recommended to me, I am sure she knew nothing of what was going on with this person. Even good people hire con artists. It was very unfortunate as I think she would have done a fine job for me.
