Rebecca and her team did an amazing job for me and my family. My case was complex, spanning multiple counties with three separate parties involved. The journey was extremely emotional. Rebecca was compassionate and fought for my rights every step of the way. She researched similar law cases before making motions and decisions, and allowed me to be engaged in the process. She kept me informed of all my options and explained the process in a manner I could understand. As the biological, paternal grandmother of a child I raised for 6 years from birth, Rebecca made sure I had a voice in the courtroom and that any rulings were truly in the best interest of the child. She held all parties accountable to upholding the law, and although professional, she challenged the judge, the guardian ad litem, and others, when necessary. I would absolutely recommend Rebecca McLaws and her firm for their knowledge of law, professionalism, compassion and dedication to the successful outcome of your case.

Rebecca took on my case after I was drawn into court during a rough divorce and child support case. Rebecca was very aggressive in my case against which made me nervous at first because the judge in my case seemed to always be hard towards me. Rebecca knows the law and in my case filed and appeal in my case to the GA Court of Appeals and we WON!! If you want an attorney who will aggressively represent you and knows the law and how to apply it.... I STRONGLY RECOMMEND HER...!

Rebecca is intuitive and has a solid understanding and memory or the state statutes. She knows what questions to ask witnesses because she pays attention to the details, and she truly cares about her clients. She is highly skilled and is extremely impressive when litigating.

Her and her assistant were the most unprofessional people I have ever met. She puts up a good show acting outraged even at what your spouse has done, but when she was asking for money is probably the only times I was contacted on time.
- Her and her assistant never really answered my phone calls. Her assistant's inbox is always full and she gets an attitude for contacting her. If they do respond it's a week later.
- I had never gone through a divorce so I had questions but I would get attitudes like I wasn't paying them for their services and time.
- She didn't ask my ex-husband lawyer for some important documents which greatly affected the child support, assets and equity from the house.
- SHE WAS 30 MINUTES LATE TO COURT ON THE DAY OF MY HEARING. While my ex-husband lawyer was early and consulting with him, I was biting my fingernails and calling her. she had an attitude because I kept calling when she didn't answer the first couple times.
- She's very unorganized.

Doesn't respond to my calls or my emails, doesn't keep me informed. I had to look up my own court date on a government website! What was she planning on telling me a day before!? You'd think she'd care a little bit more about he people she serves who are stressing out over this stuff. But you're left to sit and wait for answers she never gives.

Initially she was on top of things thru the first appearance in court & during mediation, but then it went downhill fast! Her only interest was money after money from me. The last time I saw her I gave her yet another $2500 & then didn't see/hear from her for 4 mos prior to our last court date & getting any help from her "paralegal" was a JOKE! I felt like I was bothering them by wanting to talk to my attorney. So McLaws shows up at last court, not having prepared me for court, and she wasn't prepared because she was preparing her case during testimony. I ended up losing joint legal custody of my granddaughter &liberal visitation. My grand lost all military benefits she had with me, lost medical insurance, and 4 years of college paid for by the V.A., but that didn't matter to McLaws. She had been out of the country & just returned the night before court. She was going out of country& referred me to another attorney who could do my appeal but that attorney had her license suspended!
