She uses her pseudo-altruistic character as a self marketing strategy. Those who truly want to do good things for others don't need to boast about it, since genuine goodness radiates humbly from within. Her trip to Haiti, and subsequent media op exemplifies her self-serving style. I have little use for supposed do-gooders who lack compassion in their day-to-day interactions, and who adhere to the typical "winner takes all," adversarial model that is destroying our justice system.

Brenda is a consummate professional who went to great lengths to provide excellent representation to myself and my child. She is kind and compassionate. She is a skilled trial attorney.
