She repeatedly billed me to obtain documents from me that she was required to obtain from a foreign court. She lost other documents that I had faxed to her at my expense and then billed me to get the information again! She told me that she wanted to meet my children because she didn't believe me and then failed to even schedule the meeting. she went away with her husband but still billed me again. She never attempted to call during the whole weekend. Evidently she suddenly had a very sick aunt. She was fired on the 6th of September but billed me for the email and the phone call to keep me as a client after the agreement was terminated in writing! Although the Tennessee Board of Professional responsibility would not make any comment on her competency as a lawyer, they did state that her overbilling, padding the bill, and out right lying about a sick Aunt keeping her from meeting me did not rise to the level of unethical behaviors.
