Everyone will tell you to you hire "the shark"-the most expensive with the most wins. They underestimate the value of having an attorney who truly understands my family's situation. In my case, I hired both. Koenig/Dunne is not the biggest firm in terms of numbers but the best in terms of attention. My calls were returned. I felt compassion and understanding from everyone in the office. She was honest with me at all times. I trusted her. And I had a shark. I recommend very strongly.

Do not hire Angela Dunn. She takes your money and does nothing. No papers were filed after she said they were. She does not take your phone calls. I received an email indicating that I needed to replenish my retainer, not knowing that Ms. Dunn severed our relationship two weeks prior. No communication within her staff, let alone her clients. Ms. Dunn told me trying to get 50/50 custody of my children was (quote) "a frivolous law suit." How is trying to get 50/50 custody is frivolous. Bottom line, keep looking and don't give your money or hopes and dreams to this person. Won't call her a lawyer.......beware!!

The initial consultation goes very nice, after that it's all downhill. For example, I have waited weeks to get responses (or more commonly NO response) to information I provided and my questions. This happened over and over. The lack of communication has been appalling. The only topic they are only slightly proficient at communicating is billing. I was not notified that they had stopped working on my case for a month and was only told when I called to check. The reason they stopped working on my case was due to a low retainer amount that I had not been notified of being close to depletion prior to. At that point, they threatened me and asked for a much higher retainer replenishment, since I had failed to stay above the orig amount. They did not look out for my best interest as far as separation of assets, custody, or billing. They said my case would be done in 3-4 months and it went well over. I deeply regret wasting my $, this firms higher cost does not mean better service at all.
