Agree with the last comment 100%. And what's worse, is that there are no other options besides his partner, whos just as bad. This man tried to help the state prosecute my boyfriend on a clear cut case that he very easily could've gotten rid of charges, but decided to tell the judge, on TWO SEPERATE occasions, that my boyfriend was not present for his hearing, even though we had sat there from the beginning and signed in when we arrived. He's a garbage lawyer who works with the enemy. That's the worst kind of snake. My boyfriend ended up having to go back for another hearing, at which they told him they rescheduled his hearing without even notifying us, then he was going to be out of town working when they wanted him to reappear so we let scherb know, and this lousy man said he better be there or theyll issue a warrant. Why couldn't he tell the judge the situation and REPRESENT his client like hes supposed to? Now my man is facing 15yrs and got a fta charge too. Smh.

Even at the lowest rating it is not even close to low enough to describe how poor of an attorney this man is. He is not a public defender but a public Pretender. I'm not even sure if he is human because he acts like an arrogant robot without a soul.

This guy has 28 years of experience but he has no communication skills. He kisses the judge`s and prosecution`s ass so much that it will make you wonder which side is he on. He never calls, unless there is a surprise waiting like he did me when he called 1/2hr. before settlement conference to make sure I was coming. I was arrested at the end for contempt. Failing to provide a urine sample. Richard thought it was cute to get up and walk away when the judge ordered it. I posted an additional 2500.00 on top of the 5000 already posted a year earlier. I did not see or hear from Richard until the next hearing 15 days later and requested new counsel. He only communicates through the mail and never made me feel like he was on my side. Wolf in sheep`s clothing forever om the judges leg. I would not recommend this guy to a friend,stranger or enemy.
