I hired Wirth Law Firm to do a Protective Order filing. I paid the retainer and was told that this would be adequate for a P.O. filing. The communication was horrific with this firm. I would email the attorney almost every day asking for an account of the court hearing with no avail. I asked that the date of the court hearings be changed to mondays for four months and they denied this. They had a lack of knowledge in the area of state statutes which I found one myself that allowed a process server to serve the p.o. this was seven months later. They handed my case over to three different attorneys thus incurring more money and after the 950.00 retainer they tried to charged another 2394.00 dollars for their lack of knoweldge in the statutes and dragging it on endlessly. I was highly dissastisfied. I would never recommend this lawyer or firm to anyone! Beware of overbilling, lack of communication, and the knowledge needed to complete a case!

I have been a client of James Wirth and would highly recommend him, if you are in need of the legal services he provides. James approaches his client's cases in a methodical manner. At all times James has in place many forms of communication set up so clients can rest at ease and receive an answer as quick as possible (Email, Google gtalk, text messages, etc) which is very beneficial these days, you never feel like you are in the dark with your case. His years of experience and background diversity make him very knowledgeable in his field. He is proactive in his cases and is prepared to the utmost. He is brutally honest about the scenario and the actions that need to be taken and will not provide you with false hope!

I hired James Wirth to handle a civil case for me involving a caretaker who stole around $20,000 dollars from my bank account. I was told we would have a case filed, and be in court in just a couple months. We contacted his office after a few months, and were told they had not filed a case, yet. They claimed they needed more time to "research". I called James demanding he get a case filed, after 6-7 months had passed. He even answered one of my daughter's emails apologizing for the needless delay. Also, the $2500 retainer had been used up, on this "research", and expensive unfruitful phone calls. They charged me ANOTHER $1300, which I paid hoping to actually get them to file a case against the person who stole my money. My daughter was even hung up on by an employee of his (Katherine) when she disagreed with the overcharges, and lack of progress. The end of the story is: I hired this attorney, lost $3800. I think the issue was overchages, and lack of know-how. Buyer be very aware!
