Not a reliable lawyer. Did not keep in contact with family at any time. Difficult to reach. Lack of contact and update regarding court appearances. Our family was not contacted upon death of accuse.

I used this lawyer in 2008/9. He did not return calls. He misrepresented me when I asked for Judge alone and I showed at Court with Judge and Jury. He was far too friendly with the Crown and the police, and would not cross-examine the officer regarding audio/video statement taking as I requested. He did not cross-examine Crown witnesses thoroughly and he was not helpful to me or my witnesses during our evidence giving. Did not hold a voir-dire. He was using meds for a sore wrist during trial. He did not question why the officer was in the hallway where the jury rooms are located, while the jury was 'out'. He said almost nothing during my evidence giving and did not show he had a thorough knowledge of my evidence despite pre-trial hearings. He had little or no knowledge of sentencing.

Very hard lawyer to get a hold of. You will spend most of your time talking to his clerk.Not true to his word makes a lot of promises that he cant keep.In my opinion not worth the money or time.

Horrible lawyer friends with all the prosecutors so will not want to win your case. He uses his knowledge in law against his own clints he says one thing's and does different. Never been more upset with a lawer in Cornwall.

Bill is a amazing lawyer he has help my sons many times and did great.My son just has to call bill and he is always there to give him the best advise.I highly respect Bill .
