Mr. Volet was hired after reading "positive feedback" on another search engine, which was obviously a bought, advertising campaign.
After the initial deposit and the agreement was signed, Mr. Volet's mask came immediately off, and in a strange and unprofessional manner, Mr. Volet started hounding with phone calls for payments, before a payment was even due (first red flag)
As the case progressed, Mr. Volet had a selective memory of his full knowledge of the law, and what's even more worrisome, Mr. Volet's selective memory regarding the facts of the case and the "accidental" loss of documents.
Mr. Volet's ulterior motive is to ultimately set you up to fail in the confusing, legal system. Proceed with extreme caution, and protect yourself by ALWAYS getting a second opinion.

I used him for a DUI case and wasn't really impressed. He was nice and seemed fairly knowledgeable but I didn't feel as though he did very much to build a defense for my case. I could have achieved the same results without a lawyer. I basically threw a few grand away by retaining him. The only time he really made an effort to call me was when he was waiting for a check. Wouldn't recommend him.
