I went through a "highly contested" divorce as he put it. The opposing counsel was way too much for him. Matt didn't fight for me, he was too busy trying to become partner. Eventually he let me go, guess he got tired of me trying to stand up for myself.

I terminated him and went on as a pro se litigant to get a zero dollar judgment in a civil lawsuit against me. How did someone with no legal background determine the plaintiff had no evidence and in fact was required by Okla statute to submit evidence within 60 days of filing and many, many other things. I did better representing myself. I wasted time and a lot of money.

I hired Matt for my Divorce, he promised me everything but in the end I lost the house and the car. I was left with most of the debt.He would never return calls and was always sick. When i did get a call back it was from his assistant that new very little about my case.He talks a big game and double bills to wipe out your retainer and folds in court.

He looses evidence, never calls you back, double charges you. If you want to talk to anyone it will be his secretary. If you can actually get him to the court room hes good. However I wouldnt waste my time or money.

I hired Matt and it was a nightmare and everyone ridiculed him. He must have all his buddies beef up his rating on this website to cover his tracks. Its laughable. I assure you he is an idiot and a waste of time to hire. Good Luck with this newbie !
