She handled a DUII case for my son. She was persistent in getting results, professional, always returned calls in a timely fashion, and was caring. She also was very knowledgable about the subject and the judge.

Unprofessional. I retained her to represent me on a DUI case. Two days before my scheduled DMV Hearing she tells me she has a pre-scheduled trip out of town and will be getting off of an airplane during the hearing time but "not to worry" because they are "really no big deal" and that I could bring my cell phone into the hearing with me and represent myself and she would "coach" me. I declined. If she had a pre-scheduled vacation on the date of my hearing she should have informed me of this during our initial consultation and gave me the option of hirhing her or not. Instead, I had only 2 days to find a NEW laywer who would be available to attend the hearing with me...IN PERSON, and I was out $200 because she refused to refund my entire retainer that I put on my credit card because it was not her problem that I "freaked out." Her retainer is cheap, but there is a reason for that.
