Jon is born to do this job. He's SO quick-witted and knowledgeable that in the courtroom (or mediation), you will have a HUGE upper hand by having him as your representation. He helped me with estate, corporate, and family law. In each and every case, he simply amazes me. I'm not saying he's a perfect person - there are days when he's clearly in a bad mood. And I don't blame him - I would imagine being a lawyer is a very stressful job. On those days, try to have some thick skin and remember he's not mad at you, he's just having a bad day! He's a great person. He fights hard for you and tries to get what you deserve, always. He looks out for you, and your family. I'm so blessed to have him as my attorney.

?I first contacted Jon Mills in 2012 after being referred by several other people that he had represented. I initiated a child support case for my minor daughter in which we had no knowledge of where exactly that her father even resided in TN. He had been absent and unable to locate her entire life. Jon immediately began handling my case aggressively ?and with integrity. It was one of the most stressful times of my life, but Jon took charge and walked beside me every step of the way.
He has subsequently handled two additional cases for me. In every event Jon has listened to my situation and immediately put a strategy together on paper, and fought my case in court passionately and as if he were fighting for his own family/child. I cannot find the words to express my appreciation and respect for Jon and his team. If you are looking for someone to stand up and fight for you, he is simply the best. I will use him and recommend him to anyone for their family legal needs.

My wife and I are local business owners. Jon helps us anytime we require legal assistance. He is diligent in his work and very fair! He calls us on his cell phone and allows us to call him too. He is a great guy! Any negative review is prob from someone who was guilty of something or had a bad divorce. We don't get lawyers for fun stuff. You can trust Jon.

Horrible Attorney, I would not hire him to represent my dog,he is a (fluke) he was paid cash money to represent someone very close to me in a family law case. He made contact once with his client in person & twice by phone, after that never heard from him. Mills never returned calls, nor gave updates, Jon Mills NEVER showed up to any court date that he was notified about. Do not hire him unless you like being giving the run around. He sells himself very well but that's about it!! Such a waste to even consider him to represent you. He needs to be INVESTIGATED by an ethics board seems like all he does is get people money and leave his "clients" in the blind!

I hired Jon for a simple pre-trial dismissal. He offered a discount, and seemed kind enough, initially.
Fast forward to when we're finally in the process of getting it expunged, and he's a nightmare.
Starting July 28, I sent him five emails—one every few weeks—simply trying to find out the current status of my case. The fifth one I sent today, October 22, and he finally responded—to tell me, he was firing me as a client, "given the circumstances."
This came as a shock, and when I asked what "the circumstances" were, his response was, and I quote, "The circumstances are that I am tired of your e-mails." Once again, Jon... if you hadn't taken three months to respond to a simple status check, I obviously wouldn't have had any reason to send more than one email.
Bottom line, don't hire Jon unless you want someone who will tell you to your face you didn't pay him enough and someone who will ignore your emails for three months, then fire you for trying to get in contact with h

Mr Mills does great research.But,he does not communicate after payment.He postpones EVERYTHING.Wants to settled out.Seems afraid of court.Acts ackard when in front of judge.Dishonest person.Talks a great game when hired,seems aggressive,but will LET YOU DOWN.Never had my best interest,settled me out of court, costing me thousands of dollars.Was very rude lawyer also.I advise ,RUN DO NOT USE. His prices are low because you get what you pay for,LOW QUAILTY.Very two faced lawyer,settles with other lawyers without your knowledge. I have had lawyers in my past but I will say this..JON MILLS WAS THE MOST DISHONEST LAWYER I HAVE COME ACROSS YET!

This guy is a genius-does really good research behind the scenes, but he ends up overbilling because of it. Most importantly, he is awkward in court, and interpersonal communication skills are poor. He comes across as abrasive and aggressive, and let's face it-divorce is a compromise. If you are filled with greed and anger, this is your man, but you will come up short in the end...
