Very unfortunate coming across this lawyer. All he cares is to hook you up with a small retainer, after bigger one and so forth until you decide run away. As for your court case, you better find an alternative less costly. It is my personal experience that I wish nobody goes through the same with this lawyer.

Mr. Tobias seems very knowledgeable about family law. He knows what it takes to win in court, so please take his advice and follow through. In terms of verbal communication, he is very straightforward, assertive, and gives proper advice regarding appropriate courses of action. Be honest with Mr. Tobias and he will fight for you. He is very detail-oriented when it comes to work quality and explains everything line by line on all documents. He paraphrases and uses analogies to give a better understanding of what is written and what he is saying, when needed. He also asks for feedback, and gives genuine advice. Mr. Tobias' work ethic brings value to the table. His candid demeanour may seem harsh at first, but it is his way of being truthful.

Possibly the worst lawyer ever. Definitely a misogynist. When I needed time to arrange for more money for his fees, he told me to sell my grandmothers' ring that I was wearing! He embarrassed me in front of my ex-husband and his lawyer. Truly terrible behavior. In court, he couldn't remember pertinent points about my case, which of course we lost. He cares about money, not helping people.

My experience with Warren was excellent from start to finish of my case. He is definitely someone you want on your side of the table because his knowledge of law combined with his tenacity and determination to resolve issues in your favour are truly top notch. I'm very pleased with the behaviour and results that Warren brought to the table each day. I will recommend Warren to friends and family going forward.

Do not hire this lawyer under any circumstances. He only cares about money. He also hates women. And I'm a woman and he berated me in front of my ex-husband and his lawyer!!!! He was rude and inefficient! Plus he made huge errors in my case!

Mr Tabias is a gentleman lawyer who cares and understanding his client point. He is very knowledgeable about his work. No matter when, he is always available for his client to advice and listen patiently. I was very happy with his work as a result my case went very well through in a very short time. Warren was my lawyer for a divorce and has handled several other cases for me . I was completely satisfied with his services . Warren represented me in a very complicated case. He stood by me every step of the way and kept me informed of every detail pertaining to all of my divorce and child support issues. He understood how much of an emotional toll this was taking over me as well as my family. He did his best to attain what our best interest was at the same time worked with me so that I never felt as if I was going through this alone. In my opinion, to be a family law lawyer you also need to be a good listener because I brought my case specifically to him to help me take care of the most important priority in my world...My family. I trusted him with this.

My experience with this lawyer was very bad. After I sunk tens of thousands of dollars in his pockets he started behaving like he owed me looking at every corner for charging more. He was often rude and screaming at me. In retrospect, it is clear that he was much more interested in controlling me for more money then in doing his work in the case and to get himself in the court. His work ethics and conduct suck.

I called Mr.Tobias regarding a child support case we are involved in. I had no unpleasant conversations with him; he was highly helpful and knowledgeable. He has been practicing family law for 35 yrs, including teaching family law, and it shows. His knowledge of family law surpassed anyone I had spoken to before. He took his time to speak with me and my husband many times. I only list his work quality as 3 because I cannot honestly say. I do know his work ethics are that of a dying breed. We unfortunately did not retain him due to finding out a family friend was still in business after 40+ yrs. This is the only reason we did not retain him. I am not sure why the other ratings on here gave him such a low score. But, I always take into consideration not everyone gets along with everyone. Nor does the whole story typically come out when you’re angry. We found him to be very willing to help us, very knowledgeable, pleasant and affordable. I would recommend him to my close friends.

I basically hired Warren to represent me in a family court matter because he was intimidating. He accomplished what I needed and didn't drag things out for monetary gain HOWEVER 2 yrs later I have to go back to court same matter. My position is strong and I planned to retain Warren, however we had a family emergency and I couldn't run to the bank to place the retainer into his trust account. I was unavailable on my landline however Warren called me a few days ago on my cell and berated me and bullied me. He told me *I* was unprofessional because despite me telling him we had a serious family emergency and I could not address his retainer when he demanded it as I had no time to run to his bank branch but I planned to do it in the next day or so,I was made to feel like dirt. He was verbally abusive & unprofessional! Now I am thinking why would I hand over my hard earned $ to a rude disrespectful man who verbally bullied me? I plan to find a local lawyer who at least respects his clients

I retained this lawyer for more than one year to represent in my family case. He did not even bother to come to court during my trial even though he cashed my all my cheques toward his retainer. I called him from the court on the trial day and he pushed me back into the courtroom to self-represent. After he charged top money, $400/hr, he is now trying to evade an assessment of his account in total of $86,000. Adding to the above: abusive language, poor manners, sloppy work, are just a few highlights of my first hand experience. I experienced many occasions when Warren was losing his tempter. However, when it comes to money, he charged generously for hard to quantify items amongst which research, correspondence and communication made the top of the list.(DP)
