If you have a simple case that requires only a small amount of court appearances then I can recomment him. If you are looking for a lawyer that would help you through a divorce case from beginning to end where there are some complex issues such as child custody or a lot of assets I cannot recommend him. In my divorce case he represented me for a period of 1.5 years and the only thing that got accomplished was the appointment of a GAL (which took over a year in itself) and a pile of legal bills. I had no alternative than to let him drop me which he did so I could get someone else. He is good in the court but he fails to do the other things necessary to give his client the best outcome possible. If you do decide to retian him as your attorney I do hope you will be prepared for the case to last a long time and he will be very expensive so I hope you have unlimited funds. I must also warn you that whatever assets you do have before your divorce they will be absorbed by his law firm.
