A friend of mine recommended me to Robert when my son got into trouble last year I couldn't sleep I had all these scenario's picturing him sitting in jail Robert calmed me down explained to me what was going to happen and what he was accused of he would not go to jail it's his first and last time he would be paying a big fine that's what happened he did a great job in court handling himself he is professional personable,humble and reasonable

All he want is not help you out of your trouble, but your money. If you are in a small case, he is fine, but don’t turn to him with big trouble, he tries to get your money in a seemingly reasonable way and then get away, it’s what he has done to me at least.

Had both of my kids charged several times and Rob got them off and , in one, such a reduced charges it amounted to the same thing. And his fees were quite reasonable.I would recommend Rob to anyone.

Best Criminal lawyer in Toronto! I hired rob for my son who was charged with aggravated assault. It was very serious. Mr. Geurts wrote a 10 page memo to the crown and convinced them to withdraw the case. I could not believe it! He saved us a year of anguish and continuous court appearances. Rob Geurts' knowledge and his connections turns out he was true to form for both. He was worth every penny!

I had retained Rob after i had another lawyer which i felt didn't do there job correctly and hid information from me. After a year of my case it had went to trial. Rob kept me updated on everything answered all my questions.. even took my phone calls at anytime and didn't charge me for those calls. Rob told me he will win my case and that is what he did at trial i was found not guilty just wanted to say Rob is a humble guy... He will understand your case and guide you through it. It was a nightmare for me because i knew i was innocent. He fought well at trial he does think as a prosecutor a lot but he was crown attorney before so he does have a experience in that field too. I just wanted to say a big thanks to him from getting me out of this mess and i can continue to pursue a career as a social worker thanks Rob - The guy who called you 1000 times haha

Awesome lawyer... extremely personable and empathetic. Thorough knowledge of his field and very well respected in the courtroom. Went over everything in detail with us and was extremely supportive throughout the process. Outcome for my dad was better than we had hoped for. From the moment we retained him, there was an unexplainable level of trust and confidence we felt in him and he delivered. Great guy- extremely humble, down to earth, direct and made seamless of a stressful situation. Even if our outcome was not as great- I would be confident knowing he still did all that could be done. Would recommend him highly!!!

Robert is extremely knowledgeable. He gave me a good idea of what to expect at each phase of my case. He answered all questions thoroughly and got me the best result I could possibly have hoped for. He is calm and collected whilst doing battle in the courtroom. As a critique, he can think too much like a prosecutor and act out of an abundance of caution periodically. This got annoying at times. The legal arena is a strange game with many moving pieces. He knows the players and this is a huge help. In my particular case, I also got lucky with a good judge and Crown. So, my results may not be typical. At the end of the day, you can trust Geurts and count on him, but do not be afraid to assert your own opinions; he works for you, and he will not talk down to you. It's not in his nature. I recommend him highly. Stephanie was a big help too. She set up appointments and brought levity as well as a mature clarity to my offense.

His glory days og being a former crown attorney are done. Tried to sell me on having trained the prosecutor in my case. Turns out she didn't even know him. His knowledge is good but results in court are mediocre at best. There are much better lawyer's out there for cheaper price.

Two family members retained the legal services of Robert Geurts. He got all charges dismissed for both family members. No criminal record. He educates you and listens to you. He answers all your questions. I can't think of a better lawyer.

I agree very knowledgeable, tells you what you want to hear until he gets paid then at the end he likes to make a deal with the crown to drop a couple of your charges and at the end you still get convicted.

Easy to get in touch with. Very personable. Full of knowledge of the law. I think he worked with the crowns office before so he is well known which was a plus. I had a few serious charges that he got withdrawn on technicalities. My 2nd time with him. Def. recommended!
