She is belligerent, combative and disrespectful.  Although she purports to be a condo expert, she is either unfamiliar with condo law or chooses to disregard it.  While it is totally understandable that a condo association may want to restrict rental units, she led the association to do so by rules and regulations, rather than by amendment to the condo dec.  She held our seller's disclosure documents hostage pending its agreement to abide by the invalid rules & regs.  She attempted to interfere with our contract by offering up alternative buyers.  It appeared that she also had an issue with our buyer through a relationship with another association where she purchased a unit, failed to pay assessments and lost possession.  During the course of the transaction, we discovered that she has a notorious reputation with the title company and in the community. |   |

I met her at a seminar that she was hosting for condo associations plagued by foreclosures. We talked a little after the seminar and I explained my situation to her. She was very knowledgeable about Real Estate and Condo and explained my options. I knew then that I needed to retain her to assist with my failing condo association. Soon after retaining Ebony we began seeing results (i.e. recouping delinquent association dues). After all of our units went into foreclosure we were able to recoup funds owed to the association and were able to make much needed improvements to the building and have some in reserve. The developers that purchased the foreclosures in our unit were so impressed at how she handled our association that they then retained her to handle all of their properties as well. 
I have never had an issue contacting Ebony whether it be via email or telephone. She always responds promptly to my questions. |   |

She over charge for her services which is highly unethical. For instance it only cost like $450 to filed paper work in court for an eviction and about $500 for her to appear in court to represent you that is a total of $950 right. However if you aske her to handle the paper work and show up in court for you then she charges $1750.00 which is an $800.00 over charge. She procrastinates and cause you to lose money, and when you try to get in touch with her she's always busy and when she is available she double talks as if your the stupid one. Think twice before hiring Peace of Mind Properties or now known as the Property Law Group located at 1038 E.47th Street, STE 2N Beware she will cost you more than she is worth!!! |   |

She started proceedings without Board approval for the sake of billing then threatened to sue our association if we didn't pay her for that. We know of 2 other associations within the same area that had the same experience. She was fired from 3 associations within 6 months we found. We spoke to 1 of them. They told us she threatened a slander suit against their association if they continued to tell others she was fired. In the last 8 months, she's changed her name and started a new firm. The new firm is still located where the old one is. The old firm shes still involved with is ""Peace of Mind" properties. She's imensly unethical. Her legal knowledge is also extremely limited. She cost our association 3x our legal budget before we smartened up and FIRED her. |   |
