Horrible. Life changingly horrible... Lawyer agreed to monthly payments after a large retainer was blown through. Gave legal advice to take a mistrial and stated it would take 2 to 3 years for the state to appeal. Received a letter within a week from the state for an appeal. John then said that he would no longer represent me during the next trial date unless full balance was paid after he agreed to take monthly payments. My court date was one month from my initial mistrial and I was expected to pay $5000 in that time or I was out to dry. Ended up paying over $10k and was left high and dry to the hands of a public defender. Worst decision I have ever made by choosing this lawyer. Go elsewhere if possible.
