The Reason why this lawyer understands narcissism is because she is a narcissist. She’s arrogant and pretends that she is knowledgable about certain things because of her own insecurity. Whenever you try to provide her with feedback or request respect, she threatens to fire you. She charges an exorbitant amount for every single thing that she does. Unprofessional. Confrontational towards her client. Changes her mind frequently. Withholds information.

I met with Erin recently. She was highly knowledgeable about family law and about the narcissistic behaviour. She was personable and reassuring. At no time did I sense any condescension or arrogance. I do not understand the negative reviews -- I think Erin is an incredible lawyer who genuinely works for her clients and their children.

I had two friends of mine had extremely horrible experience on divorce case with Erin Brooks in Nanaimo. DO NOT hire her! You'll leave the office crying! She has awful understanding of her client's need and limited knowledge of the law. Erin is also condescending and arrogant. She needs a help from a psychologist.

I found Erin to be exceptionally smart, honest & of high integrity. She explained my legal obligations completely while providing competent advise as she guided me through my process. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Please submit your complaints about her to the law society so we can get this ignorant idiot disbarred from practicing law. Not only does she have no integrity, she yells at clients and has no knowledge of the law.

Erin blatantly overcharges and tries to create more work to increase her income.I feel like she was making her own interests a priority over mine.She also has a very limited understanding and knowlege of the law, on 3 seperate occasions she made major mistakes which I caught with a simple google search.Erin is also very arrogant and condescending, prone to scolding her clients.

Erin made the daunting task of navigating my divorce clear and easy. She was personable, professional, straightforward, and enjoyable to work with. Though she approaches her job with incredible levels of professionalism, she speaks to her clients in a way that is friendly and comfortable. It is obvious she cares deeply about her clients and goes out of her way to provide amazing service and value. She doesn't beat around the bush, and will not waste your time or your money. I would highly recommend hiring Erin Brook!

my freind hirred erin to do her simple divorce and she suewed it up so bad she is still trying 5 years later just to get a pension out of her ex for money owed for child and alimony that her ex never payed a dime,she told me she should of got rid of her when she said you would not wont to take anything thats not yours or when erin had her own little visit with her ex behind my freinds back,...she is the worst lawyer i have ever seen and or heard of she should be disbard by now

Erin has a difficult time balancing her need and the needs of the client. ie I just went thru a JCC when there was no 30 day notice and no financial statements in place. I had specifically told her I wanted to avoid the JCC until my ex returned from his winter away. Instead she allowed this to happen instead of following the rules. I think this is a rip off. This was a very expensive day and I am very upset. I would never recomend her after this....

She was mean, and useless. She didn't have enough knowledge of the system. She thinks it makes her look cool when she is bad mouthing. Do not pick her at all costs!

Ms. Brook was in no way helpful as a lawyer or for any advice. She was very Demeaning and very condescending woman. would not recommend her to anyone.Ms. Brook would say one thing to me and yet her actions were otherwise.

Erin was the definition of professionalism in my custody and child support case. Her knowledge of not only the law but application of the law was superior to opposing counsel, who surpassed Ms. Brook in experience by years. She is tenacious, quick-thinking and creative in her solutions, and as a parent, I believe that at all time Ms. Brook had my family's best interests in mind, despite the temporary emotionality of the situation. I would and have recommended her many times over.
