Kept asking me to come to the office to discuss the problem. 5 times went in and provided him, and then his articling student, the same information, for which I was charged 300.00 dollars per meeting. When I called (quite a few times) to ask what was going on, I was told in few weeks (8 times!) and was charged for each call.

Chris Haber actually sent me - his client- into a discovery with ZERO preparation, explanation or advice, ZERO. Irresponsible, negligent.

Chris Haber communicates relatively well and I was thus deceived. No knowledge or communication skills can make up for disorganization! Chris Haber repeatedly lost emails and hard copies of items/evidence I gave him. He even neglected to check through on a will that I alerted him two in writing twice. Basics. His office staff and co-workers alike, reluctantly admitted Chris had this problem of loosing things - along with the issue of being chronically late. The latter seems to be a slight inconvenience - but can and did cost many dollars - in my case when he was more than 2 hours late for a settlement meeting with other lawyers. His work habits are so bad that he called me from Burlington at 2am when he was to represent me at 9am in Toronto that very morning. His voice was as if he was drinking or on drugs. And then he charged me for the call. I lost trust completely. While Chris seemed to know the law, he was not aware of all procedures around a settlement conference before a
