While I think Mr. Avratin is capable of doing good work, his performance was less than that in my case. Late arrivals to court hearings, failing to provide documents to the court in a timely manner, and not returning inquiries. I just cannot recommend his services.

Attorney Avratin represented me in my divorce. He was the consummate professional. He knew the law; was incredible in presentations before the Judge, with whom he was able to command her attention; and I just felt secure knowing he was fighting for me. He lived up to his reputation as the perfect balance of Compassion and Aggression. I would highly recommend him.

Adam Avratin has been representing me and my son in a custody case for the past five years. During this time, Adam exhibited the highest level of care for my son and for what is right and just in life (and in the court of law).
In working with Adam, it became quickly clear to me that Adam was (is) incredibly versed in the rules of law, and he was always incredibly well prepared for discussions. Most important, he was most prepared and very articulate in front of the judge, and he was far better than the attorney representing the other side. In every situation, Adam out-classed and out-smarted the other attorney – but not in a sleazy or manipulative way. Simply, Adam knew the facts better, knew the “lawyer rules” better, and knew the case better.
I’m now approaching the third year of 50-50 time with my son. And my son is healthier, happier, and life is much better (for everyone) because of the new custody arrangement.

Adam Avratin is someone you will want by your side. He knows exactly what he's doing and after using him for several years I see how well planned out each court appearance is. He thinks outside the box but yet is a no nonsense - just the facts kind of Attorney. I wouldn't like to be sitting across from him.

I was represented by Attorney Adam Avratin for over two years during my divorce proceedings. I was faced with a very difficult divorce that Atty. Avratin successfully guided me through and was able to reunify me with my children. I had always been told through past experiences that a divorce was usually not favorable towards the father, Atty Avratin proved that not to be the case! The Avratin law offices went above and beyond to help me during this extremely difficult time and even now, after the closure of our divorce Atty Avratin regularly checks up on my progress and always offers support, truly a class act. If you are ever faced with a contentious divorce like the one I unfortunately endured and need someone that has extensive knowledge with the laws, highly experienced in the court room and just a true professional then I highly recommend the Avratin law offices. I can only say that i wouldn't want to face Adam from the other side of the table, and clearly neither did my ex-wife. Adam's methodologies and presence in the courtroom were far and above any other attorney I've seen throughout my entire divorce process. Highly recommend him to my fellow brothers

Adam Avratin is a true professional. Very hard working, and very eloquent in the courtroom. I wouldn't want anybody else on my side, fighting for me. He is very sincere and wanted what was best for my son, and I. I have great respect for this man. If you are looking for a lawyer that practices divorce/family law, you will be very satisfied with Adam. I highly recommend him.

This attorney is the worst attorney I had ever used. He only care about his money. I hired him to handle my divorce case but fired him after a few months due to his unacceptable conducts. He used every efforts to collect my money, but did not use effort to do work, did not handle the case properly, did not answer my questions, he always totally ignored me after I sent him email many times, he did not care about my concern and issues. The most things he did were forwarding opposites counsel's emails or letters to me, no comment, no advise, no action! He even missed important action must take that badly impact my case.

When going thru one of life's most devastating times with a Divorce and you have assets plus Children, you Best hire someone that understands every issue and every detail that has come into your world ! I was given Adam's Number from one of His clients that had been down this road and HIGHLY recommended him. I called him on a Saturday Morning and left a detailed message on his office phone. Within 2 hours he called,set up a lunch time and had a tentative plan in place.The process was 18 plus months ! He wasn't only the Attorney he became a friend that made a very dark time in my life to have a very amicable ending for both parties and children. I was divorced seven years ago and my ex-husband has brought me back to Court every year since the judgment of divorce entered. I was referred to Attorney Avratin last year from a former client of his who said she would not use anyone else as Attorney Avratin "saved" her and her children. From the moment I met him I knew I finally had found the lawyer for the job. As a result of his aggressive but compassionate manner and professional abilities in the courtroom I expect that my ex will not be bothering me anymore. How much more can I say other than that. Hire this guy! He is everything he holds himself out to be and more!

If you need a family law attorney- HIRE THIS MAN!!!After my former wife decided she knew more than the mediator we had consulted with and lawyered up. I knew I was in deep doo doo. Her idea of a 50-50 divorce, was she gets the assets and I get the debt. Adam squashed the temporary orders, kept me in my home, kept me with my kids, and thwarted all the legal BS thrown at me. He combined his expert legal advice, with an eye toward my budget as he often stated, that he "didn't want to waste my money or his time fighting for things that he could not win". Adam has extensive knowledge of the attorneys and judges in the court system(In Plymouth and Brockton in particular) which was CRUCIAL when advocating on my behalf and gave us a strategic leg up on the other side. He would seek a compromise, but would fight like a pitbull for what I was entitled to. Most importantly, he has a personal touch that allowed me to maintain my dignity in a bitter and contenious process. Verdict: I won.

For most people, going through a divorce is a stressful, emotionally draining and expensive ordeal. When I walked into Adam Avratin's office two years ago for a (free) consultation I felt completely overwhelmed. Adam put me at my ease immediately. He was professional and compassionate and laid out all the steps in the process so I would know exactly what to expect. His fees were fair and competitive and I never felt he was running up the clock to increase his fees. He's just not that guy. He was always available to me by cell and he answered all my questions thoroughly and sensitively - even when I was repeating myself. He knew when to fight, when to negotiate and when when to pull back. In the end, I was very satisfied with my settlement and felt protected and supported through the entire process. Call Adam, he'll take care of you.

I went through a nasty 3 year divorce that finally concluded in 2011. Adam came highly recommended and I liked his approach from day one. He is a no-nonsense attorney and he always gave straight answers, which I very much appreciated. Being an attorney myself, I know how busy lawyers can be. But whenever I talked to Adam, he always gave me the time, answered all my questions to my satisfaction, and always made me feel like the outcome mattered to him. His rates were extremely reasonable compared to other lawyers, and he never inflated his bill in any way. In fact,throughout the process it felt like just the opposite. He did not send unnecessary letters or in any way create more work than was necessary, which a lot of attorneys do. His professionalism, knowledge in the courtroom, and familiarity with the judge made me feel confident throughout. I was very pleased with the outcome and with all Adam did for me. He is a terrific and honorable attorney, and I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Attorney Avratin by a former client of his who raved about him. I needed a very strong attorney as my now former husband was a bully and did and said anything to get what he wants. My first meeting with him was free, which I thought was a little unusual, but he explained to me that he wanted to make sure that we would be the right fit. Immediately I knew I was with the right Attorney. From the first day we appeared before the Court and the several following appearances I watched this guy fight hard for me and my children. He knows the law, was always prepared, and an unbelievable presenter before the Judge. His website states integrity, respect and dedication. He is all of that and more. I would highly recommend him!

Adam Avratin is the absolute worst lawyer ever. He went into court, tried to bully me into accepting a crazy schedule for my kid, then let the judge - who he knew was going to lean toward the wrong schedule for my child's situation - decide on the temporary orders. He knew how the judge leaned, and didn't tell me. He knew that most situations lean towards a 50:50 custody split - but didn't forwarn me or act in any way to get the situation ratified. He also lied to me about things that SIMPLY werent't TRUE. I had a pending April 12 contempt date and Adam didn't even know that I had it and he never bothered to find out. He claimed also that he knew who my judge was - when he had never, in fact called the court to confirm it. And, he had the wrong names and docket number on the complaints that he was going to file in court. In short, don't hire this guy to mow your lawn. Unless you want your grass to grow OUT OF CONTROL and take over your life. Because that's the kind of attorney he is.
