I met Mr. Fink back in 2016. After 12 years of bunting heads with WSIB, my case was completely a mess. I felt totally stuck with them and with my life. He told me at our first meeting that it was going to be difficult and it would take two to three years.
During that time, Mr. Fink was always confident. He learned my chaotic case very quickly but thoroughly, and looked into every crack and crevice in my over-2000-page-case-file.
After exactly three years, Mr. Fink untangled the problems from my case to help me live my life. Now I’m truly relieved.
Mr. Fink is a real professional and very thoughtful at the same time. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with a WSIB matter.

Fink & Bornstein was an outstanding team that cared immensely about my rights as an injured worker. Mr. Fink worked hard representing me and was very accommodating in answering all my questions. He is extremely knowledgable in regards to cases dealing with WSIB. Mr. Fink and his team fought hard for my rights and provided my case with genuine care. If you want a lawyer who really knows the ins and outs of labour law or landlord/tenant law, Richard Fink is good. Yes, he can be to the point and blunt (which some interpret at rude), as many of the reviews point out, but the bottom line is that he knows his stuff. I brought appeals of landlord-tenant cases to him several times and he did a good job. He went the extra mile on these cases, which were not easy to do. They were extremely complicated. I would not go to Richard for what a paralegal could do, but I would suggest he is good for complex legal cases where a paralegal is insufficient.

Richard A. Fink seems to be con-artist, he refused to file appeal against WSIB's decision despite being paid retainer fees to represent. All he had was excuses to not file the appeal against proofs submitted to him. Despite having been paid he quit representing the case for no reasons, and stated retainer is non-refundable, but did nothing to advance case. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM !!

Slick Con artist - false advertising on web site. Wasted time; refused to file a court application / Statement of Claim; charged retainer despite contingency, then demanded a co-signer. After quiting, he said retainer is non-refundable, but did nothing to advance case. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM !!

I came for a free assessment. This lawyer shows me honesty by examining few elements that I displayed. Worth for free consultation visit before you waist your money on real WSIB lawyer. Recommended for other people to consult him. Best wishes for your WSIB law suit.

Tells everyone free consultation, thats false advertising. Told my brother that he wants $3000 upfront or dont waste his time. This guy cant run a lemonade stand

Mr. Fink represented my husband on a case that in my opinion, was a difficult case to argue. To be honest, I didn't think there was a lawyer in the city or state that could work with a case like the one I brought to Fink. In spite of my reservations and lack of faith in outcome, he was able to exceed my expectations and help us reach a reasonable and somewhat merciful disposition in the case. Very satisfied with the service and highly recommend.

Very rude. He grab my papers from folder throw them over the room. I email same information. I get email from staff not to bother them. That for sure I didn't, I wouldn't recommend him to nobody.

This lawyer was honest and upfront. He did not waste my time. I saw another review about the staff being rude. I tend to disagree, as the staff was very helpful and took the time to explain everything to me. I would recommend this lawyer if you need WSIB help and want an upfront answer as to whether he can help you.

This guy is useless doesn't even take the time to explain. Looks like he doesn't even know his work. Staff looks lost, secretary is so rude. I don't even think she should be there. Never ever will I refer anyone to this guy. Good luck on anyone who uses him

Mr. Fink was very knowledgable with WSIB. His staff is also very helpful with ongoing questions and concerns I had. I read some of his reviews and although some people made negative comments, he did an excellent job for me.

I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment. Two minutes prior to my appointment time a member of his staff told him I was waiting but he choose to make a phone call to someone instead and left me waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time. I feel this defeats the purpose of having an appointment. His overall manner was dismissive and not supportive....very negative. Despite a large economic loss due to a work related injury he said I still made enough money and he was in India and the people there were very poor. ?!?! I didn't go to see him to discuss poverty in Inda. What has that got to do with me paying my bills here? I felt this meeting was a waste of my time and I found him insulting and judgemental. I expect to be seen at my appointment time and I expect objective information sharing...ie not patronizing.

Richard and staff were on top of my case from the start They made it a priority to keep me informed of everything involved with my case his staff were coureous and proffessional in keeping me updated on any meetings and resolved problems quickly Overall very pleased with Richard and staff I would reccommend him to represent others Thank you Richard and staff!!!
