Stephen, handled a serious driving charge for my father in professional manner that was most impressive. Although I personally thought a dismissal of the charge would be difficult, Stephen didn’t. The outcome was a dismissal of the charge. For that my father and I are extremely grateful for Stephen. Thank you Stephen

Stephen represented me recently on an Over 80 charge. As this was my second offence (first was 28years ago), we decided to persue a quick resolution and plead guilty. He is well known and respected by the crown attorney and judges and he was able to submit a joint resolution (agreed by the Crown) for a one year suspension and a fine. It could have been much worse including jail time. Steve was always available for me and very comforting during this trying time. Take every word of his advice and you cant go wrong. I would highly recommend him. CD

Stephen and I fought an uphill battle for over a year which looked very grim at times. He was very honest, very knowledgeable, and he never gave up. He seems to take everything as it comes and rose to each challenge that came our way. He always came up with creative ways to achieve the result we wanted. We continued to persevere and we had the criminal charge changed to a careless driving charge. I did have to spend a lot of money to resolve this case but at the end of the day it was worth every penny. Stephen's rates are fair but it added up due to several court appearances. I would also like to note that he was very understanding and he had an interest in hearing the struggles that I was experiencing and helped me a great deal extra in dealing with that. As for his behaviour in the courtroom; Stephen seemed to have a sense of calmness at all times. He was extremely polite, and thorough as he flowed through his tasks. Stephen is a force to be reckoned with whom I'd highly recommend.

I was facing my second over 80. Even though the first was 25 years ago the situation was bad.Mr Biss managed to plea bargain a charge of careless driving with minimal conditions.He truly is a wealth of knowledge in his practice.

I was charged with a DUI on New Years Day and had blew 200 at the station. Stephen was recommended by one of my friend's parents who practice Criminal Law in Hamilton and I am so grateful to have crossed paths with him. Mr. Biss is a seasoned criminal lawyer with a very calm and soft-spoken demeanour. The prosecutors did not want to settle and wanted to fight this until trial. His professionalism in court separates him from other lawyers who are more theatrical and brash. His price is fair and his persistence is key - a lawyer that will you can trust during a very difficult time in your life. Thanks for everything Stephen!
