Renee Stafford’s incompetence has put my family in a terrible situation. I hired her to draft my late father’s will. She had me execute the will myself, then registered it with the province without checking it had been done properly. Because I am a layperson, I hired her to ensure it was done properly since it is such an important thing. So now he has passed away, and I find out the will is not legal. I have contacted her several times asking her to rectify the situation, and she has ignored my emails. I am now in the position of having to spend upward of 7 grand to have this fixed before the courts. Do not trust this person. Dealing with this bureaucratic tangle while grieving a loss is the worst thing I can imagine.

Loves charging interest before work is done. In fact interest is charged by default. Seems her and Brad are riding the James Stafford coat tails. At best student work is what one can expect.

This lawyer was a personal referral and I so regret using her. She'e lazy, procrastinates, leaves what she has to do till the last minute; and then fails to complete what she has promised to do. I asked for a quote and she ended up charging me for a very basic assignment three times what she quoted!! Don't waste your time and money on this person! There are far better lawyers in Vancouver. She is also the most passive aggressive person, I've ever dealt with! When you ask her a question; she will give you a dirty look as if it's the most stupid question that she's ever heard and then tell you in no uncertain terms that she's not prepared to do the very thing that you're paying her for. I truly have never met anyone so stubborn and unhelpful in my life!Use anyone else for your legal needs; they can only be better!!
