Catherine and her assistant were an absolute pleasure to work with. In a bad situation they brought me reassurance and worked very diligently on my cases. There is no other lawyer in Calgary I would go to if I happen to need her again.

She was supposed to mediate a DRO attended by my husband, she hadnt read the file, was completely unprepared, off task, aswered an 'emergency' call during the 18 minute session, and when my husband pointed out a fact about a discrepancy, she said 'this is over' and hung up the phone. Unprofessional, biased, unprepared and did manage to mediate anything. Obviously canjot handle being wrong and prevented any mediation for happening. Would never hire this lawyer, EVER. Fail.

Do not hire this lawyer. She will overcharge by doing the work herself and does not work for her own client's best interest self. She cannot handle any aggressive opposing councils maneuvers. Therefore the opposing council gets the upper hand and it makes almost impossible to change who wins. She misses important points in affidavits and excuses herself for oops "missing them". Even if your case is clear, she will sabotage it. She will not support you in mediation, nor in court. Fired her. She is near retirement and does not care. Any good reputation is UNDESERVED.

I would not recommend this lawyer, very unhelpful and padded my bill with charges she took for multiple communication with ex-spouse and his partner by her choice. I was then told if he had to speak with him because he didn’t have a lawyer at my cost....thousands of dollars kept for retainer disappeared and she only made 1 court appearance which was got no results.

Over charged for Administrative work. Did not use assistant, did it herself and charged lawyer rates. Easily rattled. Unprepared for confrontations with other lawyers. Experienced should know better and work smarter. Transactional lawyer only. Would not refer her service. Poor performer and value for money.

Slow, non productive, little to no effort in order to gain understanding of situation and articulate the information into an affidavit. Highly inadequate skills and knowledge during court hearing. Terminated her services.
