We were informed to pay a $1250.00 for Agreed DNA Testing & to get my son his rights.We didnt meet personally with the Attorney until court.Still paid half for the DNA testing after being told price includes this,Rights were never reached in our case? Just informed of a Retainer fee right before court? To pay if we retain his services for Agreement Terms not Met from previous payment of covered services? So, we were lied to and then Attorney spent more time, Shaking oppososing Attorney hand at court. We had a continuance following DNA but were Dropped Right before court, This is unfair to the Clients and obviously his concern is not in the best interest. Its a paycheck and a Burden free case of hurry up and throw the file in a cabinet mentality. Im sickened by the lies and unmet terms,as we live paycheck to check.

And yes--I went online and read the reviews which had me with a good feeling about this guy. I went to court where James was unaware it was the final hearing for my child custody case. That was the 2nd court appearance. The 1st time I was granted a continuance for a later date (so why unprepared and mislead the client). Mind you before we went in, I was assured by this guy that things were going to be okay and he didn't need any additional info from me. My advice---run--don't walk. The cross examination was weak and unprepared. I could have honestly done a better job representing myself. I usually not the type to do reviews--but felt obligated to do so in this case. (btw: he spent more time speaking with the opposing attorney than he did me -his client). When asked about possible outcomes and shild support--he qouted me a figure 800 less than what I was ordered to pay. ---classic crook---

Not pleased at all! I think he should concentrate in one area of law and not several. If he concentrated on one area maybe he would know more!

He said he would help me with my custody case and I paid his fee, then billed me even though he had never been to court with me!!! When I didn't pay, he dropped me. I went to court and found out I didn't have a lawyer. Lost my case because of him. He is greedy and doesn't care. Just after money!
