He takes on more work and clients than he can reasonably handle considering his lack of specialization and lack of adequate support staff. If you don't keep on top of him, then you won't hear from him and there will be little to no progress at all. Fine for a simple real estate deal, will, filing for an uncontested divorce, or similar simple matters, if you check up on the progress regularly, but anything more complex, you should look for someone with a dedicated practice in that area of law. There also seems to be high turnover in staff, which considering the excessive work he takes on, suggests he may be burning them out or failing to properly invest in them.

I have used Charles Davidson in 4 real estate transactions and several contracts matters. He is incredibly knowledgable, honest, ethical, and kind. I have recommended him over and over to others--the value he provides for what he charges is unmatched in Guelph. I highly recommend him on any matter related to business litigation, real estate, or contracts.

Mr Davidson was retained to look after a family law case. His knowledge of family law is limited. If you have a difficult case, retain a lawyer with more experience in the Guelph area. Mr Davidson, will keep billing, with little, to no results...he simply isn't knowledgable enough to provide sound judgement and advice.
