He will quote a low hourly fee. He does not respond to emails or phone calls in a timely manner - you can expect him to ignore most of your communications. His work he bills for contains either inflated hours or he is incredibly slow at what he does - I can't decide which. After spending about $1,500 on him and having my case go absolutely nowhere in the court, he stopped doing anything. His final bill (which took him 4 months to prepare and send) shows 15 charges in 5 minute increments for "rec'd e-mail from client". Not that he bothered to answer any of the emails, but he thought it proper to charge to read and ignore my communications. Not only will he bungle your case, he is also not reporting his earnings to the IRS. For the two years he was being paid, he ignored my I-9 requests which were required by the IRS. Take my advice - take the money you would have paid this guy and set it on fire with a lighter. You'll get the same results and waste less of you time.

When you have to hire an attorney you place a lot of trust in them. You are in a position where you need help and someone to be an advocate. This attorney has charged me over $1,400 on a $6,000 matter and I am sitting here, almost 2 years later, and the case has stalled in the court. He rarely responds to emails or phone calls, he missed many opportunities to respond to delays on the defendant’s part, he refuses to send his billings to justify the money he has received from me and he refused to supply IRS I-9 information. This guy says he charges about $100 an hour – don’t believe it. Don’t believe him. He will leave you high and dry with additional out-of-pocket expenses.
