Horrible lawyer.. she needs to currently get fired from being my kids lawyer. She is one-sided.. I need her fired asap before my kids end up adopted and/or dead

Unfortunately the ability to actually represent the children thru the OCL seemed to be lost as it appeared she was serving the custodial parent. Very disappointed in the outcomes as the children were still controlled thru the custodial parent even though she was supposed to represent the children. I cannot adequately come up with the words to describe how her role negatively impacted the children and their relationship with both parents.

How disappointing to have had to work with Leanne as an OCL. Her attitude was clear she wasn't thinking of the best interest of the children, in fact she was seen multiple times coaching the applicant, never speaking with the respondent. In no way did she advocate for ALL children involved in our case. All it did was cost us more money when this could have been resolved with mediation and counselling. A true SHAME on her. Not at all professional, and will be making a complaint to the Office of the Children's Lawyer.

Direct and to a point. Don't expect Leanne to be your therapist (I loved that about her), she will remind you that her rates are high and she is a lawyer. She will clearly let you know your options so you can choose what works best for you. She always returned all of my phone calls and emails on time.

She did nothing for me actual nothing at all and has her clerks do all the work costing me thousands of dollars. Her personal assistant actually would fight and debate with me in a confrontational manner every time. I was not support in a very vulnerable state rather taken advantage of, strong along and over billed repeatedly!

Leanne Way is a pathetic lawyer with no professional ethics let alone law skill. She communicates by taking the literal words from your mouth and putting them on paper without any further research, filtering or proof-reading. She takes weeks and sometimes months to respond and is very self-worthy with profiting only her bank account. She tries to push only her mediation contacts and if you want to use your own, she simply doesn't accept their credentials even though they are fully qualified and more affordable to you. Leanne is all about dragging things out which means more money in her pocket and less results for the client. If you need a reputable, reliable family lawyer...do not use Leanne Way.

Ms. Leanne Way sells herself as a mediation lawyer. At first, I loved the way she counter-attacked my soon-to-be ex-husband and his lawyer. She repeated all the things I wanted her to say to his lawyer...but of course I realized too late, that I am not a lawyer and everything I was saying was petty and sounded ridiculous coming from her in the eyes of my ex's lawyer and eventually, the courts. She led me to believe that we could push all boundaries and ask for the sky, even though we were supposed to be mediating. She pushed my ex so hard that he decided it would be better to go to court rather than mediate. She won't go to court with you. I had to get a new lawyer, and pay her bill up front. Then when we finally got to court which took 2 years because of the back log, my ex's lawyer won on all counts. I wish I had just taken the deal we had struck from the first negotiations and not let her work me into a ridiculous tornado of garbage. Don't use her, she only tells you what you want t

Leanne is very no-nonsense and quickly advised me of what was worth pursuing and what was not. She was an excellent negotiator and avoided us having to go to court. Highly recommended!

Brought absolutely nothing to the table! Simply re hashed my emails and forwarded with her letterhead. Tells you what you want to hear - generates more emails/hours which equals cash. Total self serving, and offered no value to my divorce process.

Leanne Way is a terrible lawyer with no common sense let alone law skill. She refuses to communicate properly and comes across like a flake. She is more damaging to a case than beneficial and cherry picks what information she wants to retain. This women should be removed as a Children's Lawyer and if she is yours, demand someone with credible experience. Apparently anyone can get a law degree. She is what is wrong with the system.
