I retained Justin Werb, a Partner at North Shore Law in Vancouver, to represent me in a custody matter for my two children. I feel completely satisfied with the work Justin has performed on my behalf. All the staff I have dealt with at North Shore Law have been very helpful and Justin works closely with a team who have all performed superior work with my case. I also wanted to mention that Justin shone in the courtroom, he was always competent and prepared and really helped me navigate through the litigation process. Justin is an excellent attorney and was well worth the money spent as I came out with the outcome I was after.

I had an excellent experience with Justin and his team and North Shore Law. They were caring, knowledgeable, strategic, and were able to meet the deadline we were working with. There was always someone for me to speak to for urgent matters. Justin takes the high road in all matters but is prepared for dirty tactics and un-founded statements. Money well spent. I would recommend him to any of my close friends who were in a difficult predicament and needed a quality lawyer to protect both themselves and their children.

Justin represented me for issues relating to child custody and support. I am very happy with the way he represented me in the courtroom. He was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. I always felt as though Justin was upfront and honest with me and helped me make the best decisions, never once did I feel as though he was putting his best interests before mine. He always gave me guidance as to what the best steps to take where. Justin was always prepared and organized in the courtroom which made me feel better, I always knew, to an extent what to expect which helped me feel confident throughout the process. Justin was always careful not to give me false hope by making guarantees of what could happen, he was realistic in letting me know possible outcomes, even the ones that were not in my favor. In the end he was able to get me what I was hoping for and I am forever grateful to him. I would most certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a family lawyer.

Going to court and dealing with my ex was one of the hardest and most stressful years of my life. But, I believe we reached the best possible outcome. Justin was there calm and collected (when I wasn't) and offered well thought out advice. We put a gameplan in motion, followed it, and, I don't think I would have done better with anybody else in Vancouver. I would highly recommend him.

I also had an extremely bad experience with Justin Werb. I had parenting time with my child every weekend and after this lawyer went to court with me I came out with every second weekend. Beware this man is a narcissistic and just wants to fight. He has little regard for the law. I agree with the other bad complaints. Beware if there are bad complaints about a lawyer they are probably true.

Thanks to Justin Werb I got custody of my children. It was a very hard trial but with Mr. Werbs help I got what I want and what was in the best interest of my children.

Due to my lawyer (in the same firm) being out of town I had the misfortune of dealing with Mr. Werb in regards to my divorce. All he had to do was file an already drafted affidavit but in turn he ripped it apart paragraph by paragraph (tried to add in useless case studies, corrected my grammar, etc.) to bill me over 5 hours (it could have been more if I had not ended the session) of absolutely wasted time and effort in my part in drafting the orginal affidavit. I found him overly assertive, impersonal, critcial, disrepectful and a know-it-all. Coincidentally my experience was very similar to the reviews from 4/7/12. I honestly do believe he literally wastes your valuable time and money for his own gain. I will consider filing a complaint to the BC Law Society as well.

Justin Werb put the interests of my son first in court. This is exactly who the courts are there to serve during a custody and support case. I became very emotional at times with the opposing sides tactics while Justin remained focused and positive though the whole case. His knowledge of case law only helped my case and also gave an understanding of the law. Court cases are won on facts based on the best interests of the child first and not emotion and hear say. Justin remained on the high road and helped my son and I to win our case. When I wanted to retreat due to feeling over come with emotion he remained strong and helped though a difficult time . I am now more knowledgeable about the workings of court system and the law and feel more empowered and secure about the future.

He billed me recklessly without clarifying what he was billing for (mostly a ridiculous amount of "research" and "case law study" outside of anything he was asked to do) which tripled the bill. He also wanted to stretch things out as long as possible in converstations, emails and it didn't take long to realize his motive was to drain my retainer and he really didn't seem to know what he was talking about. I quickly told him to withdrawal, and he argued with me and told me he was forced to stay on the case. Eventually, I filed a complaint against him with the Law Societ of BC. Don't let his $250/hr rate fool you, I got suckered in, and I hope you don't.

Justin Werb is a very good Lawyer. He represented me for custody and child support issues. He got me exactly what we were going for and he listens to to me and goes for exactly what we wanted. Also he is very organized and had solutions to my questions, and if he didn't he would get the answer in a timely matter, and get back to me. He is very professional, He is very honest with me, he was excellent in keeping both me and my family calm through these rough times. Justin knows his stuff. We really could not have picked a better Lawyer and he absolutely pulled through for us and did an excellent job at the trial.
