I didn't work with Richard personally but I worked with one of his associates, Chelsea and she was so great! I emailed her a dozen times and she was so nice and quick and always got back to me the same day. Very pleased!

Would definitely not recommend this law office. They charge flat rate for home purchase like most firms, but seem only interested in handling the smooth transfers. When issues came up they were more focused on getting me to close the deal and go away than in representing my best interests. Very unresponsive to phone calls and emails after they received payment even though the transaction had not been completely closed. Would definitely not work with this firm again.

If you are looking for the best service and the job to be done right look no further! Jessica Peever and Richard Cooper went above and beyond to make sure everything closed properly and they took the time to go over every little detail with my deal. If there was a 6th star they would get it because they were that good! Thanks so much for making this difficult time in my life go so smooth! I will recommend you to everyone I know! :)

Very disappointed with this law firm. First of all I was charged more the standard fee and what was quoted for their fees on the initial phone call. It was too late to do anything about it after the fact, since the purchase was already in progress.The purchase process was not smooth either, as this firm did not ensure to obtain proof of bills being paid by seller, although they collected the money from me and paid the seller on the date of closing. There was an issue of unpaid bills afterwords. Aftercare was poor, and they were not quick on responding and helping us with our issue. I would not recommend this law firm and would never use them again.

Totally disappointed with this lawyer. Charges way more than standard fee but does much less, for my case the standard fee was less than 700 CAD but he charged me 850 CAD and never send me a quote until the closing date. No support after closing, if any unexpected happens after closing he will ask for 450 CAD/hour (this happened to me). The communication is very unprofessional and poor. I can not say anything good about this lawyer. He was recommended be my broker. He failed to inform me about the problems that could happen after closing the deal and how I can deal with them and also failed to defend me against the seller of the house when the seller could not deliver the house as it should be after closing.
