Anyone can know the law; it's just a matter of putting in the time to do the research. Yet, James is an excellent advocate both in writing and orally. More importantly, he has something so rare among lawyers that it's practically a super power - people skills. Without getting into the details of my case, he was able to set up strong bargaining chips early on in the case, and negotiated a deal I still have no idea how the other side could ever agree to, but he did it. The case aside, James never really seemed like a lawyer, in the sense that he checked out his ego at the door. He never played or acted any part, and he always talked to me like a human being and a real person, actually listening to what I had to say, and actually caring about my problem. He only handles divorce, real estate, estate matters, and personal injury from what I understand. But, if I ever need a lawyer that deals with those things, I wouldn't go to anyone else but James.
