She is mean and cruel and has zero empathy she shouldn't be working in family law. She was assigned to me as duty counsel and the first thing she said to me was I wasn't going to get what I was asking for I asked her if she read my affidavit and she said no!! I was leaving an abusive situation and she told me I should have went to a woman's shelter instead of going to my parents. I would avoid her at all costs! She made me feel more anxious and afraid than I already was, and for no good reason

I received Heidi through legal aid services to assist me with legal family issues around MCFD. She never returned my phone calls, nor emails. Has no compassion for her clients nor even children for that matter. Does not explain everything in detail nor answer your questions. Refuses to address certain legal issues in court. She is an extremely unprofessional lawyer of all lawyers. I do not recommend her to anyone on any level.

If you are looking for a lawyer to help you get through a really difficult time like divorce, she isn't the one for you. Never have I met a woman with such a lack of personality and compassion. She made me feel worthless, mocked me, and was very condescending. I am a professional woman with a great reputation, yet somehow this lawyer made me feel like I had crawled out from under a rock. I left our meeting in tears and never went back.
