MY ADULT SON AND I HIRED LAIRD T. MOORE AND HE HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING. EXCEPT FILE SOME PAPER WITH THE COURTHOUSE SHOWING WE HAVE A CASE. I CALLED THE COUNSEL FOR DISLIPLINE ABOUT HIM. THE DIRECTOR OF LEGAL AID REFERRED US TO HIM. ALL I KNOW IS HE SHOULD LOOSE HIS LICENSE TO PRACTICE LAW. MY NEXT STEP IS FOR BOTH OF US TO FIND ANOTHER ATTORNEY. ALL LAIRD HAS DONE IS LIE AND NOW HE HAS NOT RETURNED ANR OF MY CALLS OR EMAILS.

Laird completley screwed my whole case. He did not do ANYTHING he said he was going to do. Once we got to trial he did not prepare me for what was going to happen, did not have ANY of my witnesses lined up and we ended up settling because he lied about what the settlement was. Then i hired a new attorney. He stated that he would send my new attorney my file. that was 3 1/2 weeks ago. He also stated that he would give me a full refund and I am still waiting for that. He is very unprofessional. I have filed a bar complaint and my new attorney is filing one as well. Dont EVER hire Laird. He lies, manipulates and will do anything for a buck. He is the scum of law and honestly should not be practicing!

He will except being paid off by the other party, and will lie to your face over and over, no matter how many people witness it. He will say he will do something, then blatently not do it. He is undereducated and lazy. He barely knows the basics of the law and has virtually no connections or suggestions for resources available. He procrastinates and doesn't bother to tell you when a due date is or even when something has been filed against you by the other party. He will give you the run around and waste your time as well as royally screw up your case. He is the very unprofessional in speech, dress, and manner. He stays in business by being cheap, and ripping people off. When he drafts papers, they do not meet minimum legal standards for answers. He will make you do all the leg work. There have been several complaints filed or pending that I know of with the NE BAR Association.
