I would like to express my appreciation for the help I recieved. I came into a conflict with the legal system after having no previous problems into my mid 30's. Naively I thought I would be able to handle a criminal matter on my own as I initially thought the matter to be simple. After making little progress over the course of months representing myself all I learned was that I don't know what I don't know can legally hamstring a person dealing with the justice system. I came into Joshua's office broken and even not sure of myself anymore and wondering if I should give up and plead guilty just to move on which would have ended up having life long consequences. A few meetings helped get me back on track. The result is that Joshua was able to point out to the Prosecutor that there was not enough evidence that I was guilty and everything was due to a miscommunication. As a result all charges were withdrawn and I was able to move on with my life after a stressful year and a half.

Its a shame the scale only goes to 5 with a "Good" rating...Joshua was Excellent! My situation was rather unique and required additional tact and effort- Mr Clarke handled my case within the anticipated budget and went beyond my expectations with additional services.

We would recommend Joshua Clarke to everyone looking for an honest lawyer. Our son was suddenly charged for assault. Never in our wildest dreams would we beleive that something like this could happen. We did our research and decided that Joshua Clarke was the lawyer for us. His calmness and relaxed manner made us less panicked. He knew our son was a good kid but recognized that the law is the law. He did everything that was needed to get the charges withdrawn. From the start, he knew we were panicked, and always answered questions, explained the process and what to expect. During each step he would confirm that all went as planned. This greatly assisted us in our emotions as we went through the process. He is one of the good ones and we would recommend him to anyone, especially those that are young adults, as he says it the way it is in a professional manner but makes no judgment. This really made a difference.

I hired Mr.Clarke to work out a better plea in a case. We worked out a deal to retain his services. He negotiated exactley the same deal I had been presented before hiring him. He then proceeded to charge me more than what we agreed on. When I did not agree he filed a small claim against me. To make matters worse, he provided a bill to the court and inflated the amount and did not give me credit for the cash I had given him. He is not a worthy lawyer in my opinion. Can't be trusted to do what is right and never give him cash.
