Swindled my family for 500 dollar retainer. Then went to the bar and boozed it up then when he drank all of it up tryed to press my family for more money! Asked if he could present us with an invoice he proclaimed that he does nt have 2 hours to spend to create a bill and doesnt even have a printer! He is a alcohalic and damn near indegen. Do not hire Eddie Pfau. He is just trying to hustle up his next bender! Stay clear of this lawyer

I went from hopeful to deeply pained and frustrated with Eddie. My daughters needed a GAL they could count on. He promised them directly that they could depend on him to listen and be fair. And except for following through very well on billing me, he dropped the ball on them. He broke their trust in the "system" in a significant way, and they clammed up, would not speak the truth about the situation with their abusive father. Bottom line? Inexcusable and completely avoidable tragedy, regardless of the outcome from my perspective as the seeking-custody parent.

One of the worse GAL attorneys ever! His main goal is to collect your money...and NOT help in yhe custody battle over your children. His best interest is his self and his battle with his drug addiction

Eddie helped me through a really rough time with my ex husband and our daughter. Through advice and support and getting to know me he knew I was the right (non abusive) parent to have sole custody of my daughter, so he is not solely for the men as it has been noted on here. He is very kind and caring and was there for me whenever I needed. I know this was a few years ago, but he is still one of the best advisors I have had for my daughter and now my second daughter (not by my ex husband of course)! He is a very nice man and a great advisor. He was not my daughter's GAL, so that may have made a differnece, but when it came to me and being there for me, he completely was. I have nothing but good thoughts and recomendations for him!

He was horrible! At the begining i started paying when he asked then one day I paid him 300 and he never spoke to me again... and then at the end of my custody battle he askes me too pay him 1200 dollars! For what? My ex has dui's d.v. charges, assult, breaking and entering and eddie said he should get my kid cause he thought hed do better with his father lol... told me if i fight it in court hed have to defend my ex and id lose!!! He gave my child to a monster!!! Now i have to pay more for a lawyer and in the mean time i have to watch my child be in pain cause of this man!!! I raised him by myself not child support no nothing, i work full time have my own home and cars! And i do not do drugs but for some reason im unfit in this mans eyes?!?! He should be banded from being a lawyer! But i will not rest untill i have my son! Eddie pfau is a horrible lawyer and gal.

This GAL is thorough and fair. He takes both sides into consideration and works diligently to do what is best for the child. He is not quick to judge and is very good with children. His demeanor is non-confrontational and open. He has a way of working with both sides. This is not to say that he can't make the hard decisions while keeping the safety of the child first. He can and does. If your case is a difficult one, he is for you. FYI... I'm a mom.

This GAL is totally 1 sided. He is strictly for men. He failed to come to my house as I requested. He came twice for a total of 10 min. He spent time with my ex eating lunches, sat at his house, interview by kids at my ex's house but never mine. He charged me $3300.00 for very little work. He never wanted to contact me or my older boys for information. He listened to tapes of my conversations my husband made of me and my friends. He never gave me a chance. He threatened me with my children to take them away. He is a very bad GAL and should be disbarred.
