An unfortunate situation occurred and I found myself in need of a family lawyer. After calling several lawyers, I decided to contact Mr. Chris Young’s office after reviewing all the success and positive comments online. Mr. Young’s professionalism and honesty while working on my case provided me with confidence and assurance I needed throughout the process and provided me with the successful outcome I was looking for. I needed a family lawyer to help me with my 2yr old & met with him after my first lawyer didn’t have time for me & would take weeks to respond to emails and letters.Some one suggested Chris after they had a great experience with him for their custody battle.Meeting Chris & his team was the best thing I did. He is very knowledgeable & knows how to talk sense into his clients before going into court & meeting with the other side. And his team is even better.I have been dealing with Danielle & she always gets back to me right away so I’m not left wondering what’s happening with my file.Letters are always sent to me first to review & approve before being sent to my ex’s lawyer.Chris was also great with the judge & negotiating.He tries to keep costs down. I thought I would be in court forever but he settled in a day.Chris & his team are so patient & wonderful. I couldn’t have done it without them. Once we had an agreement in place, I was able to do my Will & estate planning with him too.

Mr. Young recently helped me with a Separation Agreement, and I am very happy with how it turned out. He was very approachable and answered any questions I had. All of the staff at Young, McNamara is very friendly and I enjoyed interacting with them, however, the receptionist at the front is a little ditsy (but I believe she is a co-op student, so she won't be there long). Overall, I would recommend this firm to anyone going through a Separation. Mr. Young exceeded my expectations.

Chris Young is an excellent, straight forward and honest lawyer. He helped us during our family custody battle and we are eternally grateful for his help. Don't take it the wrong way when he doesn't spend every minute answering all of your frantic emails/calls, he has incredible staff to handle that. Chris takes care of your case and ensures that he has all of the necessary information at hand.
His staff is amazing! I had the great opportunity to work with Danielle and Shauna. They were very personable, informative and compassionate to your case. No matter their case load, they always remembered you and were familiar with your case. You felt important and heard, even though sometimes you were just an emotional basket case.

I had a good experience choosing chris as my lawyer for my family law case fighting for custody of my son. It started off with my consultation going for a ride with him to a court hearing and discussing what i needed to get done and if he could help me it took some convincing because it was a tough case and i lived out of town at the time. But he saved the day and took my case and By the end of it wich was only a year process he was able to get me more time with my son than most dads. It was a lot of hard work and chris and his staff worked with me even when i was 4 hours away, via phone email or txt. I believe he even called while he was out of the country on vacation because i emailed him and said i need to talk to him. He has done a great job for me and i will continue to use him as my lawyer in the future and i would recomend him to others.

I would highly recommend Young McNamara to anyone. Mr Chris Young was very efficient, personable and to the point. He does not beat around the bush and will do anything in his power to help you in your situation. But always with consideration for where you stand, and what issues you are going through. Met once. 3 hr wait..asked irrelevant questions. Used words king and queen,jumbo shrimp,;barefoot contessa, johnny Rocco. Our meeting him resulted in the realtor who deceived us and his home inspector stole from us, to cyber stalk and hack and hence subjected to various property crimes. And it's illegal to ask for a credit card. Regardless, a descendant of king wm 1. His behaviour was offensive. Without prejudice. Gave us a title search faxed to him by another lawyer. Showed realtors family were previous owners of said property. Realtor denied knowledge of history of ownership. And we rescinded our offer to purchase.

I found this man, to be a saviour in my case of separation. Very knowledgable, accommodating, fair and reasonable. When I needed him the most he was there. When i needed advise after business hours he was there . He helped me deal with the stress of my separation and offered helpful, timely advise that was indispensable. He is calm, and intelligent. Not a hothead, or prone to over-react. His advise is for the long term problem solving, not short term gains. He definitely had the best outcome in mind. Excellent staff and very responsive attitude. Honestly, I want someone with intelligence, integrity, and one with a sense of justice on my side, But I also know he has to eat too! I would highly, very highly recommend this man, this firm to anyone who feels they might need the service that is offered. Don't fear lawyers, They're people too! Thanks again Chris, Your services were so invaluable and gave me peace of mind!

Mr. Young is one of the best lawyers in the Niagara region. I can not express how much he has done to settle my family dispute in a meaningful and timely manner. What I like is that Chris not only knows family law, he understands the system and will do what is necessary to mediate on my behalf therefore saving me time and money in the court room. Nice guy but almost to nice. He knows his law and will respond quickly but if you need to fight your on your own. He doesn't back you or stand up for you when your being attacked you gotta defend yourself. And he tries to resolve things to the point he actually offered things to my ex for her....again nice guy but no fight

Chris Young and his wonderful staff have volunteered their time and expertise to The Lung Association for the past 7 years, working on our The Will Campaign. The client is referred to Crhis and his staff for a simple will and power of attroneys; the client writes a cheque payable to The Lung Association for $100.00 for a will, and $50.00 for eeach power of attorney. The Law firmn does NOT bill either the cleint or the Lung Association....the monies raised from this campaign go directly to our lung health research goal each year, helping us to provide 3 research grants of $50,000.00 each to provide new treatments and hopefully one day a cure! Thankyou Chris and Staff for being our face in your community! You guys are Amazing and recipients of the 2013 Lung Health Champion Award!

I recently had the opportunity to be represented by mr.young. He is very proffessional and knowledgable. He kept me informed and involved through the entire process and pays attention to detail. He takes the time to really get to know you and your case. He is prepared every step of the way and is able to be very straegic as a result of his knowlegde of the law. He was willing to work with my schedule by meeting with me on Saturdays, Sundays and even met me at my childs hockey game. He beived in me and my case and never gave up. He made me have confidence and gave me strength to keep fighting. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. I would definately use him in the future should i ever need it. He is worth every penny. BEST LAWYER EVER. You would be a fool not to hire him.

I have used Mr. Young and his team of awesome assistants for everything! I went there when I purchased my home for all the paperwork and help with that. I also went and had my will prepared there. What I have found I personally have come to use the most is in area's of family law. I have been dealing with Mr. Young and his legal assistant Paula for over 10 years! I can say that from the prompt responses, the friendly office atmosphere and co-workers, the knowledge of every area needed, reference to case law where required, his presence and attitude in court, and just the overall confidence he portray's leaves me nothing to worry or sweat about. While lawyers can be and get expensive it is also nice to know that Mr. Young and his staff are capable of making decisions on my behalf without always having to attend and discuss things beforehand. Overall I would highly recommend this lawyer, and his staff for all areas where a lawyer may be required.

I retained Mr.Young in a family law matter. His communication was succinct and he returned communications quickly. I think Mr. Young is experienced and knowledgable about the law and legal system in Niagara. His father was a Judge and he Has a Master Degree in Law from Cambridge University in the UK. What he lacks is tenacity if your legal matter turns ugly. He is not a "fighting" lawyer if this is what your legal issue requires. He knows the system and Judges well and will try his best to get resolve without fighting in front of a Judge. Overall he could be good value for your legal dollar.

This one is not very honest or ethical in my opinion. He also seems to have no problem breaking the family law rules.
