When I first received child support payment I noted to my lawyer that it was too high of an amount and that the income input from me was 1,000 dollars more a month than I made. She told me she does not make up child support and it's the law. I responded child support is a formula, but income input is a calculation done by you. Long story short after arguing with her over email presenting my evidence I finally fired her. I had to take it to litigation to clean up the mess she made of my case. Monthly income was lowered by $700, I received my parenting time credit, and I presented my evidence of birthing cost the mother wanted me to pay when we had an agreement she would claim child for 2010 taxes and use that money to pay off balance. (All she would not do for me) Bottom line I would not use this lawyer or recommend her to anyone.
