Mr Berreckman did not advise client City Gov't did not have any liability or power in forcing a contractor to divert stormwater runoff from neighbor's property. Client, therefore, could have sought legal counsel locally with a financial benefit to do so. Mr. Berreckman, a former City attorney, charge 5 hours for consultation, research law, draft demand letter, review response, one phone call & email. I feel his time was inflated by discussing his personal/professional endeavors, inacurrate information in letter, 18 mins to scan, email letter with short message, as well as, incomplete advice regarding the City's liability.... all to his fiinancial advantage. I will NOT recommend him to anyone for advice or respresentation.
