What a huge mistake I made hiring Leigh. I met him in the family services office of the St. Catharines courthouse. I had been planning to represent myself. He convinced me to let him "help". We went in front of Justice Quinn for a relatively routine matter. I was shocked at how the judge treated him and by extension - me. I only learned later it's because his name is MUD in the St. Catharines area due to his ethics violations. The routine matter escalated into weeks of trial due to his incompetence. Beware !

In all my years of dealing with legal issues and the representatives required to represent such matters... I can honestly say that this guy takes the cake! Stay away from this clown!! I truly mean that. He will drag you along for months without doing any real work on your case. When you request your account you will see more lies than the Russian Olympic teams drug testing results.Stay Away, Stay Away, Stay Away. I strongly suggest anyone considering working with this hustler do some homework prior to establishing a relationship with him. He spends more time on vacation than at his desk, his office is 100% unreachable and any correspondence received for your file takes a month to be forwarded to you. I am posting this as a caution, not a review. There’s poor service and representation provided by a number of attorneys, but this clown can put them all to shame!

Good experience. I needed paperwork at critical times for deadlines and he came through every time. He even worked during a vacation. He has an incredible breadth of knowledge and wrote up an agreement for me that only needed very minor adjustments. I only wish that emails were answered or acknowledged by receptionist more promptly. Waiting two weeks for a simple reply is very long when involved with a legal case of any type. But in the end, a very satisfactory outcome without totally exorbitant fees.

I am going to echo the others on this list. Possibly the most arrogant self serving and lying lawyer I have ever dealt with. Billing practices should be looked into by The Law Society. My favorite is not returning emails for months at a time and then sending you an invoice for those emails. 10 emails read well that will be $1000 thank you. He uses form documents then charges for hours of work to fill in the blanks. He then makes errors on the information and charges you to make the corrections even though he has all the correct information from the start. I had to pay a huge amount of $$ for zero service so I could move onto a different lawyer. DO NOT USE THIS DOUCHE. There are reasons he was barred from the Law Society for inappropriate conduct years ago. I wish I knew that before i went to visit his smelly home office

very little knowledge, extremely unprofessional, full of empty promises, likes to talk about himself then charge you as a client the 400 visit! Watch your bills added lines for phonecalls or visits that didn't exist! In home office is horrible, smell of dogs, or burnt items from kitchen then takes care of personal issue all while charging you as a client...WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!! WORST MISTAKE I EVERY MADE TRUSTING THIS PERSON!
