She failed at filing, makes up emotional pleas, and charges for failure. DO NOT USE HER. She also tried to report another lawyer when they did their job properly.

I hired Dana Cohen as my first lawyer back in 2009. She seemed to know her area of expertise but what did I know... Ms. Cohen failed to simply schedule the matter when directed by the court. As a result of her failure to comply with the courts requested return date, I suffered a great loss which meant losing a judge who could see through my ex's manipulation. While Family lawyers are efficient at taking your money, they are not held accountable for their mistakes and the client is the one who suffers the long term effects of unprofessionalism.

Great Family Law Lawyer! The opposing Lawyer was quite unruly and aggressive and Dana diffused the situation with the utmost of tact and professionalism. We ended up getting everything we asked for, she's very courteous, understanding and a highly effective Lawyer. She has my highest recommendation. RS

Well balanced approach both in terms of advocating for me and being empathetic towards me. Is very effective in terms of drafting and keeping costs down and knows her way around the court system. Would definitely recommend.

Ms. Cohen is very unprofessional, does not verify facts and she tends to make errors that are costly. She has quite an aggressive and demeaning approach when dealing with opposing Counsel which does little to promote an expedious resolution to the issues. She seems overwhelmed and does not respond in a timely fashion. I would NOT recommend Ms. Cohen, unless it was to my opponent!

She put her client in charge by mistakenly put the wrong document in the affidavit.Totally unprofessional.Not willing to work with the client for the best solution.Using silly word in court which doesn't help with the case at all. Create huge complication in order to get more pay from client.
