Terrible. Lost a child custody case that should have been easy. Came to court unprepared. Did not follow the instructions from the judge in writing an order. One court date he did not show up at all. Unfair billing practices, pads bill but no follow through. I would not recommend this lawyer, especially for family law cases where in the end the children suffer.

MR FRIEDMAN IS VERY FAMILIAR WITH HOW TO SEND AN INVOICE EACH MONTH AND IS RELIABLE TO SHOW UP FOR A COURT DATE; UNFORTUNATELY, YOU CANNOT DEPEND ON HIM TO EFFECTIVELY REPRESENT YOU. HE DID NOT TAKE THE TIME TO FAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH THE FACT SPECIFIC CASE DETAILS PRIOR TO STANDING BEFORE THE JUDGE. HE APPEARS TO PAD HIS BILLS WITHOUT ANY SUPPLEMENTARY DOCUMENTATION AS TO THE WORK HE IS BILLING FOR. MR FRIEDMAN PLAYS GOOD COP/BAD COP AND WILL GIVE YOU HIS UNDIVIDED ATTENTION UNTIL YOU PAY THE RETAINER. YOU ARE BETTER OFF PRO SE.
