I trusted Michael to handle my divorce from another local attorney...twice. Big mistake both times. I dropped it the first time; it dragged on for more than a year the second time, and as final orders approached (within 30 days) Michael was still promising to get "up to speed" on my case. He never notified me of hearings, but blamed my non-appearance on me! I actually found out about all hearings from my husband. Now, I am out thousands of dollars, I am still married, and have nothing but hard-won wisdom to show from my experience with Mr. Vaughn. He spent more time listening to my ex than me, and put things in place that benefited my ex more than me. He is basically turning cases way too fast--at one point he switched firms in a hurry, and did not even reflect my retainer balance on his statements until I called his old firm to complain. When I called him on this, he said I had never mentioned it to him--but I had, on three separate occasions. Believe me, you can do better.
