Click to report rating    5/11/12   1     1     1     1     1   My experience was exactly the same as the previous posting except in my case, he got $1500 in July 2011 to file an uncontested divorce without child custody or division of property issues. After many unreturned emails, phone calls and attempts to see him in his office, nothing has been resolved nor has he filed my divorce. I tried to see him again today and was told by the building manager that his office was now downstairs and he required that she notify him for permission to send the person down. I live in Dunwoody and can't reach him. I guess my next step is to sue him and report him to the Georgia Bar. RID: 69868
Click to report rating    1/29/12   5     1     3     1     1   I, Sarah Bonner, signed a contract on Apr. 13, 2011, with John R. Wall to file my divorce and paid him, $1250.00, up front. He did not file, neither return my calls, nor received my certified letter. I am visiting family in Portland, Oregon, but was wedded in Georgia; why I hired a lawyer in Georgia. Oct. 25, 2011, I asked my daughter to call him from a different number, as a perspective client. He called her back and she confronted him and asked him to call me. Oct. 27, 2011, he stated he had a family issue, but he wanted to restore my trust in him so he was going to do what I paid him for. I have not heard from him since, neither has he returned my $1250.00. I've contacted GA State Bar, who is suggesting mediation, minus any charges he may bring to the table I don't trust him and since he did not file my divorce as promised in the contract, why should he receive anything. I feel cheated. I wish I had a picture to present with my statement. I am disable on a fixed income. RID: 62847
